- 1/8 p. cubensis Mushrooms
- approx. 8-10 ounces of Harmaline tea
The setup: I had been chatting with an old vietnam vet/ hippie who has a hobby is botany. This guy swears by all types of herbal remedies, and introduced me to harmaline. He told me it would take my higher than I had ever gotten on Mushrooms, I was curious, but doubtful. I left his house to go to Jake's where i would be tripping.
I drank the tea about 20 minutes before i ate the shroomies. I swear 10 minutes after I ate them, my vision started shifting, and my body started buzzing. I felt an overwhelming warmth and comfort, and thought how great I was feeling, especially since the last time I ate mushrooms was a nightmare. After smoking a blunt with 3 friends who split a quarter of shrooms, I sall the most vivid visuals on mushrooms i had ever seen. I kept seeing colorful, transparent faces sliding through the air. I was sitting in a basement that was decked out in paintings, antiques, and medieval swords. It was heaven, for a short time.
As my trip progressed I felt very completely isolated from the people around me. I couldnt even stand to look at my friends, as if they knew nothing about me. Tears poured down my eyes for a lot of the night, but I was not crying, It was amazing. My nose was also running which I found hilarious. I felt so self- centered, but also very humble, I felt as though I was being ruled, even conquered.
Two friends of mine were driving into downtown to pick up an ounce of mushroom shake from the bottom of a huuuge bag for a good price. i opted to go. I had no idea where we were going, and cars seemed to by merging into each other. I remember Jake asking, so can you tell if the Harmaline is working. I was dumbfounded, how could I possibly tell him how I felt? I didn't answer him at all, hoping that he'd get the message.
When we got home, things got a little too weird. I felt somewhat paranoid and went to lay down in a bed by myself. I felt as though no one really liked the person that i was, but so many things were running through my head, I didn't dwell on it. At this point the visuals were absolutely stunning, but I didn't seem to pay attention to them. I had absolutely no idea what time it was, but thought it was was late.
When I got up, Jake was asleep, and everyone else had left. I dont remember much from here except that I was exteeeemely confused. I opted to was home (next door) and realized it was only 2:18 am. I had eaten the mushies at about 10:30 and was suure it was like 4-5 am. In conclusion, I was very happy with the combo of mushrooms and harmaline. I expected a "normal" trip, and got what I deserved, a swift kick in the arse with the help of some harmala.
