Shrooms - Experienced - Now I remember why I love 'em.
Pure Fiction people.........
This report will highlight the wonderful time I had this past weekend with my G/F while eating some shrooms
Pre-trip: we both clean up my house and pre pack all the fun things we might want in a backpack so when we decide to go out we are not fumbling around looking for things. also it diminished the chance that we would forget something. we packed a blanket, cigs, some water, sunglasses, and some candy. i loaded up the cd player in my house with some good tunes (oakey-tranceport, oakey GU007 NY, and tiesto live @ sensation). we placed the backpack by the door so we wouldn't forget
Saturday 11:30 am: Her and I split the remainder of our 1/8th. We each had separate piles consisting of 1 cap approx 1" diameter and some stems. the stems were no longer than an inch or so and some were broken into several pieces. The taste was not bad. Actually of all possible mind-altering chemicals in this world i find mushrooms to be the most liveable as far as taste goes. So down the hatch washed down with some red kool-aid. afterwards i continue to tidy up my apartment and she decides to go outside to have a cig.
11:35 am: I swear i am not making it up when i say i was beginning to feel a little light headed. we took these same shrooms last week and after 5 mins of ingestion i felt the light headed feeling. i chalked it up to placebo effect but two times in a row? hmmmmmm? she came in from outside and claimed to be feeling a lil something too.
11:50 am: effects becoming more apparent, my hands were cold and i was beginning to feel some nausea. i didn't eat before hand so i knew that it shouldn't be too bad. very shaky knees and things beginning to morph. we decided to put on some tunes and lay in my bed for a while. we were both freezing so we covered up with some blankets and cuddled for a bit. closed eye visuals very interesting. geometric patterns all flowing from each other. i noticed that if i layed still the nausea went away. we tried smoking a lil bud to ease the GI probs. it helped a little.
12:30 pm: we decide that we should go outside to try to ease the nasuea. walking around may help us we thought. we made an attempt to get going and found ourselves on the floor in front of my door laughing and cuddling. we couldn't believe how hard we were tripping for only being in about an hour.
12:45 pm we made our way outside to find the most beautiful 68 degree, sunny, day that i have seen in a while. we were dressed comfortable in long sleeve t shirts and some of those swooshy excersise pants. well now what do we do she asked. lets just start walking around and see what happens sweetie. so we did....
12:50 - 3:30 pm: we found the most amusing things to play with in the most extraordinary places. we walked through a cornfield which was very very cool. if you walk down the rows of corn, you feel as if those stalks are people. and if you look down that row it seems like the stalks are standing there before you as guides, almost like they're showing you the way to go. i felt like i was in fantasia. i was waiting for the damn things to come to life and start dancing. brushing against them felt like hands briefly massaging you as you made your way down the row. looking up i could see nothing but beutiful blue sky as a background to the golden sunlight reflecting on the green leaves of the stalks. absolutely breath taking. the colors were so vibrant and sharp. everything had this beautiful golden glow to it. not a halo glow like acid or other chems produce, but a natural golden glow that was so warming that it enveloped you and made you never want to leave. she grew tired of the corn although i could have stayed there for hours. we began our perpetual search for a playground. the search carried us across open fields of grass where we ran and jumped just like little kids. we finally found a playground where we decided to make our little camp for a while. we layed on the ground and looked up at the clouds where we were able to see the most amazing patterns. the best part of the whole experience at the park though was the closeness that i felt between me and my g/f. we would kiss and cuddle and i swear she never looked more beautiful to me. she had that golden glow that i spoke of before. we would wrestle and hug and roll around on the ground. everything was blissful. we spoke of how we wanted to spend forever together and how the things that seem to matter really don't. we both found that all we truly needed to exist on this planet was right here for us. we had water, warmth from the sun, clothes on our bodies and food that could be grown. while laying on the ground, one would think it to be uncomfortable but it is amazing how the earth provides a bed for each of us. almost as if it craddles us making a bedding specific to each of our needs. i'm normally afraid of bugs, but when i found one crawling on me i picked it up and let it crawl through my hand, marveling at the beauty and intricacy of it's being before i returned it back to the ground to carry on with its life. i really didn't feel like i was tripping, i just felt blissful. now don't get me wrong, i was still trippng pretty hard but the feeling was so smooth and natural that it didn't feel like it at all. i attribute this to the setting we were in. we decided we were hungry and wanted to eat so we headed back to my house to grab some munchies. on the way home we marveled at the beautful colors of the flowers in bloom along the way. we took turns wearing the sunglasses we brought which had rose colored lenses. the color of the lenses brought out the white clouds so much. the sky was intensely blue with sharp white clouds in the background. it was a polarizing effect. we walked hand in hand all the way home telling eachother how happy we were to be together and how thankful we were to be experiencing this with the other.
3:30 -5:30 pm: we got home and packed up all the chips, dips, twinkies, and cupcakes in my house. after wards we smoked a lil herb for the comedown and spent the next two hours enjoying the rest of our trip outside my apartment sitting by the lake. we were just being silly the rest of the day, giggling and laughing at everything, playing with the little treasures we had gathered during the course of the day (a golf ball, a snapdragon, and some lawn bag stickers)
SUMMARY: in conclusion i would like to say that this was one of the most enjoyable trips i have ever had. i attribute alot of it to the setting. i would never consider wasting the shroom experience in a club. this material is meant for exploring yourself in a natuaral setting. it just seems more at home there. i felt so much love for everything that day and have seemed to carry it through to today so far. we ate these mushrooms to allow us to be able to see things for what they were and to allow us to celebrate life. and celbrate life we did. it's amazing to see the things that become so clear to you while shrooming. i highly recommend doing mushrooms with close friends and definately a significant other. amke sure that you don't go overboard with the dosage. the dosage we had was just right. we were still able to function and think clearly when we needed to. but we were free to basically let our minds run wild and enjoy the beauty of those things that surrounded us. some things that we made a note to remember to pack next time:
* Clove cigs
* pen and paper to write down thoughts
* ~ $10 for emergency shopping
* snacks
* cell phone to call friends (optional depending on mood)
* sweet candy (jolly ranchers are good)
I missed alot of the little details of the trip but telling you all the details would require me to write a book. basically you have a good idea of how enjoyable this was for me.
