alright well i guess its about time i right this up it happened about a week ago
at around 6 pm my friend calls me up saying she is bearing some mushrooms for me. yay! i ask how much she says something real expenisve so i think she might be trying to rip me off, oh well ii hadn't tripped in a while and decided to pay the extra money even if she was making a couple of bucks. I made myself a peanut butter and mushroom sandwich and start to munch. about halfway through i feel bad, because i'm not tripping with anyone so i look at the sandwich and judge it to be about 50% complete and hand it to my friend K who promptly finishes it. We had been told that these were "super strong" mushrooms, but i didn't really believe them because the girl that got these for me is realitivily unexperianced.
At about 15 minutes i begin to feel the innerworkings of these mushrooms, i was surprised but i hadn't eaten all day so its not as surprising as it seamed at the time. I have a pet snake at the appartment and i take her out to play, she is being pretty social and slithering around my arm (she is a beautiful 2.5 ft ball python) after a little while i look at her startled because it feels like liquid is dripping down my arm, but its just the snake. At this point i notice the effects pretty strongly, probably at 40 minutes. My mood has been lifted greatly and im feeling pretty euphoric. I head outside for a cig and the world has a wonderful glow and everything seams to be in harmony. this is the most content ive been in ages, everything seams perfect. I go back inside and we decide to hit a bong. This is when the trip really surprised me. After taking a rip of the bong i'm completely immersed in the trip. I think to myself how could these mushrooms be so strong, i only took half an eigth.
I look around the appartment and see a fuzz over everything, edges are starting to bend and become distorted, i'm leaving reality at a very fast, and very pleasent pace. I stare into the ceiling in sheer happiness and see aztec figures in the pattern on the ceiling. I decide to take the snake out again to play with her. I pick her up and put her on my lap, and it feels like i poured a bucket of icewater onto my groin. The snake turned her head up at mine and i looked back and started to sway my torso to the music, the head of the snake followed my every move. at this point i am very connected to the snake and my visuals are outstanding! i am very impressed and immersed in my trip.
We smoke a bowl and i decide to go to the privacy of my room (there were 3 or 4 ppl that were over just drinking that i wasnt paying much attention to). I take the snake with me. At the point that i cross into my room i stop being connected to the snake, and become one with the snake. i lay on my bed and the snake slithers up to my face, and i am thrown into my first shulgin +4 experiance. I am overwhelmed with euphoria at this point, the snake which iis slithering over my face feels like my face is being morphed as the snake pushes my skin. I don't take time to notice many visuals, but i do remeber beautiful scenes and having 360 view the entire way around my body, i am still flowing with joy as the snake wraps around my neck and i feel even more connected with it, as it sits around my neck it feels like it is over every part of my body flowing in and out of my mouth and threw my eyes and into my ears and i can see everything it sees, hear everything it hears, and feel everything it feels. i breifely open my eyes to see the snake staring me right in the face, with such a warm glow on her face makes me feel more loved then ever before in my life. As i contiue to look at her, i am also looking at myself through her eyes and i am amazed. i stay in the room and listen to a few more songs until i realize she has been away from her cage for awhile and prolly real cold, so i regretably decide to put her back. My +4 experiance ended once i left the doors of my room, but it will never be forgotten. In the living room ppl are watching anchorman and will farrell's face is uber distorted, i don't pay attention to long but go outside for a cig. i see the same pattern of the snake's skin over the realing and the parking lot in the distance, its amazing. the trree right next to my poarch comes to life and dances in the late night light. i look at the woodgrain and rainbows are radiating out of it, i say to myself, wow these were some powerful mushrooms.
i go back inside and chillax for a while, and watch my room mate play guitar, my visual field distored the whole time, and my thoughts enlightgened. I still feel as i am one with the snake, but i do not miss it when it isnt with me. i just hung out for the rest of the trip and slept pretty well that night.
in retrospec, those were awesomly powerful mushrooms, or maybe it was just me really really anticipating it.
