EADD,

I just completed a house move, and low and behold, came across a bag of what appears to be Mushrooms. They've been kept in a sealed, (not airtight), plastic bag for at least 2 years I reckon. Maybe more. They are almost dust like now, with some shrivelled up mushy heads.

Are they safe to eat? Im quite hungry.

I don't see why they wouldn't be safe, assuming they were completely dehydrated there shouldn't have been much change in their composition. Probably a bit of potency loss but I'd go for it, can't be going hungry :)

They'll be fine so long as they aren't moist/mouldy/emitting strange smells.

Should have a use by date printed on the bag in accordance with The Magic Mushroom Pickers and Packers Association consumer information guidelines.
