Certainly when the wet kind were on legal sale in the UK, 10g was considered (and priced) the same as 30g mexicans. Nobody can doubt the potency of hawaiians certainly, though I am sorry if I came across as more knowledgeable than I actually am. I do agree with you, it's not all about dosage anyway, shrooms merely open the doors of your mind and I've had earth shattering experiences off much lower doses than that.

I note Hiss also took hawaiians, or I'd be at great pains to point out that I wasn't trying to "outdo" him or anyone else. I like to think I'm a bit beyond that, and more mature for a start. I'd take seriously someone who said they had an overwhelming dose on 3g mexicans - who am I to argue or know everything about the human mind?

nikol If you read my recent trip report, you would read that I now don't just have a faith, I *know* there is a God - however you conceive him to be. And on another trip, a companion who staunchly refuses to acknowledge any faith whatsoever, admitted to a "spiritual moment".

It's a simple message for those who have no desire or aren't yet grown up enough to take in the many complex factors surrounding it. But it can be so complex that it will test the brain of many far more learned, intelligent people than myself.

If my statement offended you, I apologize, it was not meant to come off that way. I still stand by my statement though - this site is here for harm reduction. The best way to reduce harm is to provide accurate information to the people that read it. When people make sweeping generalizations, it can be confusing and down right inaccurate. Always look for facts to back up your info/opinions.

I completely followed you for the first part, but I'm kind of confused on the second. What do you mean by "complex factors", and what are they surrounding?
If you are referring to spirituality or a spiritual experience, I think that part of the beauty is how duality- in particular, the realization of both the infite complexity and infinite simplicity of things- can throw the human mind so much for a loop that the resulting chaos is where most people pick up the pieces they have been looking for.

Great trip report, Hiss. Maybe next time you try that large of a dose you can try it somewhere VERY safe. I find my room, at nighttime, gentle candlelight, fuzzy blankets the very best for intense tryptamine trips, since the experience is often so intense all I am doing is laying there anyways (might as well be in bed!).

All i have to say is, god was my celing.

Absolutely true...When I was 18 I ate 14 grams of potent cubenis and literally connected with a higher power...I won't refer to it as "GOD" but it still remains to be one of the best, if not the best, psychedelic experience I've ever had......

Psilocybin can get ugly though....as all space cadets know this all too well...

on another occasion, 3.5 grams of cubenis in the wrong setting had me ride through an 8 hour panic attack....

It's been years since i've consumed a "Heroic" dose of mushrooms...you just gotta be outside around people you trust.
