Mushroom virgin

the first time i took mushrooms i ate about 30 liberty caps, i was about 16 yrs old, i ate them on the way home from school, my mother was in a bad mood with me for staying out late the night before, she gave me an undercooked fried egg for my tea as a punishment as i remember however the effect of the mushrooms was great. about 4-5 daze later my friend and i picked some more mushrooms (from the school playing fields) and during a biology lesson i ate 15 with the intention of adding a bit of excitement to the lunch break. within ten mins of eating them I was experiencing quite severe hallucinations and shortly afterwards I blacked out, maybe that should be greened out judging by my pallor at the time... i woke up shortly afterwards, experiencing serious hallucinations but feeling absolutely fantastic, much to the confusion of various teachers who had been summonsed as a result of my insubordination. I was taken to hospital and made to drink some stuff that made me sick. The contents of my stomach consisted of a load of bile with one or two whole mushrooms floating in it... As i had passed out, I was considered to have taken an overdose and was subsequently referred to a child psychologist, he understood i was just experimenting and as a result of general discussions informed my mother she was not giving me enough pocket money. So my pocket money was doubled and next time i took mushrooms i quadrupled the dose.

I would suggest you lemon tek your mushrooms for the best experience. I'd done mushrooms numerous times before trying them this way, upon which I felt like I'd never TRULY experienced psilocybin prior to the lemon tek.

here's somethin I pasted over at the shroomery, good luck on your voyage madam

holy balls. I've experienced the most profoundly pure & incredible method of taking magic (GREAT stress on the magic part) mushrooms.

supplies:

- Lemon juice
- Shot glass
- Dried mushrooms
- coffee grinder
- FRS apricot nectarine energy drink (not necessary but get it if you can, OJ will work too but not as well)

So you pretty much just grind up 5g of dried shrooms in a coffee grinder until it's a powder, then wait a few minutes for all the dust inside to settle. After that, pour the powder into a suitably sized shot glass, cover with lemon juice enough to cover the powder and mix it all up. Stir it a few times and then pour in the FRS/OJ and wait a few more minutes then pound it.

What will follow is the most anxiety/fear/paranoia free, rapid-ass onset, mind-blowingly colorful psychedelic experience of the most magic and other worldly kind. I'm not entirely sure what the requirements are, but I'd say my girlfriend and I had our first ++++ the other night using this method (ok we ate a couple shroom chocolates too)

It was as if we were gods...being able to be anywhere in the universe, feeling the pure fun and bliss of the experience slowly giving new meaning to everything, everywhere. If I could describe the trip in 2 words it would be spiritually awakening. I felt as if my spirit had woken up/come to life for the first time ever. My girlfriend and I felt as if our spirits were one, combining and twisting and merging together in a vibrant display of intricate visuals and euphoric sensations. It gave a whole new meaning to love.

Gotta love the fungus man

** The science behind it -

I believe the lemon juice more or less takes care of the work your body/stomach has to do digesting the shrooms (something about the pH level), as the fungus are quite difficult for the body to digest. When I do drugs I get a sort of visualization of what the drug is doing...I'm not really sure how to explain it. It almost felt like the lemon juice encapsulated all the magical compounds in the mushrooms and carried them promplty straight to the brain, bypassing the digestive agony shrooms often cause. There wasn't a whole hour where I had to sit and be anxious and feel like I'm waiting for something. I just got blasted with color and from then on it was pure fun! Oh, and the FRS actually makes the shot taste GOOD (in addition to the quercetin inhibiting enzymes which breakdown and expel tryptamines from the body). Not tolerable or OK, it actually leaves a good taste in your mouth. You can't beat that Aight done rambling lol hopefully some of you try this and lemme know how you like it

Outstanding.... yep, this will surely make the most of shrooms

BUT 5g of dried shrooms are VERY VERY VERY heavy for the vast majority of people. So strong as to leave you quite confused and with very little memory or idea what happened when you come down, and what is the point of that? I know people will vigorously, and it is nearly impossible to know the strength of the shrooms you have, your particular body & brain's reactions, etc. , but 3g os the most I would recommend for most people. Actually if you never did them before, or even your current batch, I would suggest starting at even 2g and work your way up from there on subsequent trips depending on how it went. They are notoriously variable in strength as are personal reactions.

But the method described is an excellent one. The powdering as well as the lemon juice will really help release every last bit of psilocybin and the other active sub-componenents..

Thanks

chill out

Arghhhh! Ever heard of Google, my dear?

This person had a unique situation of medications and you chased them away from BL. Yes, you tried to make up for it, but don't act like this is your territory to make nasty comments just because you contribute here. This is for a drug community; harm reduction and sharing information not for your reading entertainment.

Its because of posts like this, when something IS searched, posts are "UTFSE" "this has been covered before"... just STFU if it bothers you. I hate "UTFSE" posts more than dumb question posts. Its pointless. We're all creating posts that will be searched in the future.

You decide what to read on here, you might not like it all, you can stay away from stuff you don't like.

There's no race to get the most posts, either. Quality not quantity.

Bitch about my bitching if you like. But if I see something that makes me feel like making a remark, I'll do so. How can you characterize what I said as a "nasty remark"? My initial comment was not some viscous heinous insult or personal attack, merely a slightly sarcastic suggestion that it was the most obvious and easy question to answer for herself out of all possible questions, that's all. If someone choses to behave like some precious delicate flower and over-react, running away over the hill bawling their eyes out in response to a little roll of my eyes, that's their problem. I am not obligated to treat every newbie with a dumb lazy "hey what will drug XYZ do to me?" question like some retarded emotional eggshell basket case.

It seemed like the meds were mentioned almost in afterthought... the focus of the post seemed to me to be "what will mushrooms do to me and exactly when will I be down?" How the hell are we supposed to answer that? Anyone with more than straw for a brain should simply be mature enough to know not to ask something so idiotic. I think its RUDE of people to just pop up out of nowhere and expect a roomful of experts to answer such ill-conceived questions just to save them the briefest research and reading time. Her claim to have spent two days researching shrooms, and to still seem to have ZERO idea of their effect and duration is preposterous, and an obvious lie! She was just a lazy person wanting to not do their own homework and have all of us answer her every question on silver platter.

Look, she boasted about once, long ago having "eaten LSD like candy", so clearly she was neither especially young and sensitive, nor especially innocent and ignorant. For someone with that much experience to not have even the slightest clue about what mushrooms' most basic effects are, and no clue about how to look it up herself, OR EVEN ASK HER HUBBY, there is something very screwey here.

Then the fact that she didn't come back to even read ONE later reply, or look at even ONE other post on Bluelight out of the tens of thousands that are here about shrooms is also VERY suspicious... Her 1st post was at 18-10-2010 18:59, and her LAST activity on Bluelight, which means the last moment they were ever logged in was at "18-10-2010 19:32. One minute after my post. Then she was totally gone forever? Who posts an important question to them, then after ***ONE*** short several word remark by ONE member 15 minutes later NEVER RETURNS to even see if other replies were made? Never bothers to browse the massive library of other threads and info we have here? Who does that??? Something is very "off" about it all.

The charge that I "chased her away" is a complete bullshit accusation that you are using to try and tarnish my image because apparently you find me annoying, so you can go fly a kite. If she chose to leave forever 30 minutes after joining due to ONE short little post with a litte sarcasm, she is an adult and that is HER very deliberate and conscious choice, I did not cause her to do that or chase her away. You are way off base.

All these "Tell me what this will do to me?" posts that take up about half of the bandwidth of BL are every bit as bad as "What should I take" posts and IMO ought to be similarly banned for the same reasons: they attract a huge amount of wasted collective time, effort, etc. with massively redundant discussion that saps time and energy away from far more useful and important discussions. It's not about my "entertainment", no. But its also not about massively redundant repeat answers to every single newbie who re-asks the same most basic questions about the same drugs a million times over. If I feel like expressing that with a little sarcasm its my right to do so.

As to me having some sinister agenda to "act like this is your territory to make nasty comments", or who thinks Bluelight is for my own "Entertainment", or who replies to things soley to just increase my post count... that's also total BS apparently intended to tar and feather me, so you can go take a god damned hike. I post because I want to say something in response to something I read, that it.

Should've added: "one of these days..." lol

The combinations might cause some chemical disregulation, and could turn out bad.

Wellbutrin is a dopamine reuptake inhibitor; that, coupled with the fact that dopamine is metabolized by Mono Amine Oxidase, may cause problems.

Seroquel is an SSRI and is metabolized by the same liver enzyme as psilocyn and psilocybin and is also a double whammy to your MAO enzymes. Plus if you feel sick, ibuprofen may exacerbate the issue.

The google is your friend, just find a useful thread and string it along. I love google. lol But, if everything goes haywire this year, it may spell death for google. I presume we're all going to need some forestry and mycology books so we don't end up SOL if that ever were to happen.

Edit: anyone taking Prozac: ye have you wearyness of the serotonin syndrome!
