yoyo sup fellow mushy lovers,

finally had my first Mushy trip of the season, infact, first and 2nd yo :p


2.2grams dried was the first does inthe morning. boy was it in tense, <3 DMT like pattens colours everywhere :> :> :>


THe same night 3.3grams dried was the dose. i did not think it'd work as well as rapid tolerance is abitch, but boy very much same intense visuals happened again :)


OH yeah, went pickering again today. Mad haul again. :)

USE a dessicant is a must <3 something like Damprid or Hippo :>
 
in a week im travelling from bundaberg to cairns n hope to find some mushies on the way any one know anywhere good to stop and have a look? cheers

Yay! I finally found something worth sharing! All the stems blued. Think I must have seen 10 different types before I saw these.

well took a friend on his first pick, and my patchs are fucked... i found heaps of stems pulled straight from the ground then snipped or cut with something. fucking idiots.

I've already dried and ground them. Now I'm going to capsule them.
Finally got to use the dehydrator.

That really sucks chicken Nipples. At least I did the research and knew how to pick them without damaging their beds. Now I know where there are some, maybe I'll get some more next year.
Or maybe not, depends on how the trips go I guess...

I've found a sweet spot...unfortunately the drive is long, but MAN, I was searching through the forest with my family, Mrs with the pusha (little man slept the whole time almost) and my two older boys on the outer rows of the pines....BAM....patch after patch after patch....then BAAAAAMM...The mrs goes for a little walk, tells me to stop looking LITERALLY armfuls of delightful fungus.....then we're driving home with easily half a kilo.

I havent tripped since but plan to maybe tonight.

Drying with fan and heater has really worked a treat. When people speak about oxidising...is this visible? As in, while drying, the stems and mushroom oxidise causing them to go blue? Its just I am nervous about it, I cannot see visible signs of oxidising, so I want to double check that this process isnt invisible?
 
oxidising is when u touch it, it goes blue :) Or when its growing, the coldness fucks with it, that also makes it blue :)

you actually loose some potency that way. best dried shrooms is ones thats just golden yellow, no sign of bruising at all ^^
 
Wonderful...I have 37g dried now, that look just like that, ranging from light gold to darker gold, with beautiful silky stems. So oxidisation is a visible process.
 
once they are bone cracker dry - i'd suggest u use a coffee grinder and coursely grind it up :) (cuz sometimes even when dried the worms still lives and will eat thru your mushys ^^. So coursely grind it up. bag it up in a sandwich ziplock bag. put it in a air tight container after. in the container put a dissicant like Hippo or so. I'll upload a pic in 2seconds ^^

Yeh, I'm deciding a way of using dry ice and dessicant to ensure no moisture OR oxygen is present for long term storage. That way I'm not restricted by the quantity in my possession as to when I go harvest (because thankfully it's not a hunt anymore, oh abundant mushroom, :| how I love you =D )

p.s, mine are so dry that the thinner ones literally just snap at the slightest touch. 2 1/2 days, combination small fan and small bar heater method, laid out on newspaper, constant warm breeze blowing over them (it looks like they dance and roll in excitement...or maybe its me)
 
nice SA, a little hard work has payed off for ya, thats great.

BTW, if i find out anyone here rapes patches and destroys them, ill hunt down every thread you make and spam it with gay porn! todays walk to mine and i reckon they've gone back for seconds. it aint near as nice as it used to be there... reckon im gonna go walking for a few new patches now.
 
Think ive explained this before but here goes.

To dry it, things needed:

-Bucket or plastic tub that has a top
-Plastic cups for example
-splatter or two (from $2 shop thats used for covering fry pans)
-Damp Rid

Place 6-8 cups in a bucket/tub and pour in damp rid in the cups and also in the tub / bucket then place splatter on the cups and add the shrooms. Bobs ur uncle LOL
 
Dry with cool air, not warm.

Use a chamber to finish them off.

It's pretty simple really. Refer to shroomery.

Warm air is ok too la :P as long as its not like 40c+ warm air. like if the heater is keeping the room at a nicely 23-25degree that works good for me ^^

Yeah, I dry mine paper with holes over the duct and I haven't had a problem. ( Of course then finishing in a chamber)

Sick at the moment and don't really want to indulge this weekend :<
