Tell me your experience. I'm more interested in your experience having PURCHASED them. Everyone can shroom chocolates (or weed brownies) on their own, but I'd like to hear a general consensus on the market perspective of these items from a wide consumer population. How big were they? Novelty shapes (hearts, gold coin type, etc). Every time I have seen them for purchase, they have been advertised as an 8th per chocolate. I have seen blocks (about the width of the top of a beer bottle, and perhaps and inch and a half to two inches long), to thin squares and rectangles (like a piece of a Hershey bar), to novelty shapes (for example, thin heart shaped waffer types). As I have said earlier, I have ALWAYS heard an 1/8 per. Anyways, this isn't about me, its about you guys and your experiences. So, lay em' on me.... did (how many?) have you 8o or :! ? surely I am not the only one to come across people peddling chocolates at festivals/concerts, in the spring and summer time, and such.

I have had them a couple times... always the same ones throughout the south, as far as i could tell they came from the same supplier producer and were distributes from Baton Rouge to Pensacola. Advertised as having an 8th, I would say they were more like 1.5g.

I really dislike chocolates because of the wide range of shit that goes wrong, inaccurate amounts, and the kinds of shit people try to sneak past their customers (and usually are successful). I have seen: moldy and bad chocolate, moldy or rotting mushrooms inside the chocolate, mushrooms that got ruined by heat when cooking the chocolate, etc...

One of the people I knew that made chocolates liked doing it because he used about 1.8 grams a piece and said it was 3.5 always, he would mix in powdered syrian rue (an maoi which is very dangerous for some people) to make it stronger not knowing that people on SSRI's can die from that combination. I think overall it lends itself to tampering and deception - I would much rather have 2 grams of powdered caps than a chocolate with "an eighth" in it.

Only gotten them once, and they were from a close friend who had multiple strains of shrooms, so basically it was the best of the best inside a nice neat heart shaped chocolate. He claimed it was around 2-2.5g and by the way my trip went. I would say thats dead accurate. Honestly the best shroom experience ive ever had.

I always thought people were just putting 4-aco-dmt into their chocolates...
makes a whole lot more financial sense.

I bought chocolates once in my life... I actually purchased two bars about the size of Hershey's large dark chocolate bars. They were supposed to be really strong but I was quite disappointed when I had to eat almost the entire bar to feel effects. They did taste good but who cares if you are getting ripped off?

My advice is... make your own if you are into chocolates.

I've had them 3 different times, each time they were brought back from college, by someone I knew. They were all supposed to have an 1/8each. I've had 3 varieties.

1 Regular squares i'd say 2inches long, 1inch wide and deep.

2 Chocolate fish, probably 1/2inch thick, but about 3x2 inches and a little tail.

3 Chocolate hearts, similar size to the fish, just without a tail.

Best were the squares, but they were the ones I had the most of, so it's hard to say. Each were very pleasant to eat.

I make mine in ice cube trays, they come out to about a gram a chocolate. I also only use the finest dark chocolate (wow that sounds corny as fuck) to enhance the trip. Ancient aztecs only drank cacao on the day of sacred mushroom ceremonies...there is a definite synergy between the two.

They're fucking hard to sell though, so I end up eating them all/sharing with close friends. Having shroom chocolates laying around + the munchies = oh fuck!

It's possible but even when you grind mushrooms you usually still keep some of the dusty taste but usually it stays sort of crispy in the chocolate. So there would at least have to be a non-active dried mushroom in there otherwise you would know something is up.
Meaning: if I would get shroom chocolates that had zero evidence of mushrooms in them from appearance or taste it would be suspicious.
That's a hypothetical for me because I am not in the market for mushroom chocolates. My mushroom days are over, and I always liked mine as-is.

.... I always liked mine as-is.

Same here a little too much fussing imo....i can see the novelty to it though. Agree with the synergy between dark chocolate and the mushies.
I would be too afraid of coming home to the wife finding/eating my stash and then end up freaking out....i would be like....now didn't I tell you not to eat those damnit!

I've bought and eaten laaarge numbers of mushroom chocolates. They came in two shapes, circular disks and heart shaped wafers. I was always told that they contained an eighth of mushrooms in them but as someone said I believe they probably contained closer to 1.5-1.8g of mush. These definitely made with the mushroom material still in it as they tasted heavily of mushrooms.

These chocolates were always individually wrapped in colored foil as if they were legitimate chocolates you'd get on Easter or something. As far as I could tell people loved these despite being told they were getting more mushroom than they actually were. I used to eat two to three of these for an experience often in conjunction with syrian rue.

Additionally an acquaintance of mine has told me of making chocolates with 4-AcO-DMT in them, though I have not tried them. I believe they contained 20-30 mg of the chemical.

I bought a 'shroom chocolate at a festie a couple of weeks ago. It was shaped like it was made in a little muffin tin... about 1.5 inches high and 2 inches in diameter, flaring out a bit at the top. Wrapped in foil. The dude said there were 1.4 grams in each one (20 chockies per ounce). He also had a heat-sealed bag with 3 whole shrooms which he claimed represented what was in the chocolate. I cracked the chocolate in half & could definitely see pieces in it. It went down very easy and the effects were quite pleasant, although two would have been better. That's OK, I made up the difference with a little 4-AcO-DMT I had brought with me. Perfect!

This has been my experience for the most part. I have never been more than one or two steps removed from whoever is making them. Generally they were made in either ice cube trays or mini muffin tins, with either foil or wax paper cups like peanut butter cups. I generally assume an once per 2 dozen, about a gram, maybe a little more apiece, depending on how well they scraped the bowl and how much chocolate they ate during the cooking process. ;)

I should note that I have never seen mushroom pieces in a chocolate. They were typically ground into powder (usually with a coffee grinder, but mortar and pestle would work too) before mixed with melted chocolate.

Honestly, I wouldn't want to buy chocolates if I didn't know where they came from. I would feel safer with making tea or a citrus extraction. You don't really know what you are taking otherwise.
