Muscle Relaxer Hallucinations

I got some muscle relaxers prescribed for a back strain, and they tend to make me pretty drowsy. So when i'm laying there, usually with my eyes closed, i hear voices or think something has fallen on the floor next to me and weird shit like that. Anybody else ever experience this or know whats going on?

Hmm, that is a potential (albeit rare) side effect of Tizanidine and if you're experiencing it you need to call your doc and get the medicine changed.

Yeah it kinda freaked me out. Won't be taking that again.
I don't know what to do though. I also got meloxicam for the pain which isn't doing squat, may even be giving me headaches, but i don't know if those are related to my back though. I've never been allergic to medication. And since i'm on suboxone my options are somewhat limited.

What else is out there that would be a possibility for mild-moderate pain and muscle relaxation?

I feel like when I take a lot of soma I nod out and have little dreams, kind of like an opiate not, but not as euphoric. But I imagine things or hear things too, so I think it's a somewhat common side effect of muscle relaxers.
