i recently took a large dose of dxm about 1700 mg or so,one of my arms has been slighty messes up since. at first i could barely move it but now it just seems slightly enlarged and pretty sore, should i be concerned or should it just weqar off
 
I'm not too familiar with DXM's mechanism of action but it could be due to vasoconstriction? Did you do pure DXM or one of the branded products? If so, which brand? Most branded DXM products contain other chemicals which at high doses can be toxic. Hopefully soon someone with more DXM knowledge will chime in.
 
Even if you buy DXM only products the amount of refined sugars and sodium is rediculously high but that's besides the point. I can't really give you any advice but I would say go to the doctor, this is NOT normal and 1700mgs is an absolutely rediculous and reckless dose. I've only gone as high as 800mgs and have never felt anything like what you are experiencing. Please don't ignore it, you could've done some serious damage. I hope you heal up but don't repeat a dose like that again please.
 
This is not normal. You took an enourmous dose and honestly I would suggest seeing a doctor.
 
other than the fact my right arm is over twice the size of left one, im not feeling to bad, i spent like 4 days vomiting bile, i dont even want tom talk about the worst of it. i just hope my ar goes back to nromal

Apparently you give no fucks about your health, GO TO THE HOSPITAL! What you are experiencing sounds incredibly serious. 4 days of vomiting bile? One arm is twice the size of the other? If that doesn't call for a hospital trip IDK what does. You quite likely did some permanent damage.
 
i did end up going to the hospital they didnt realy think anything was wrong, my arms still enlarged but i have most of the movement back
 
Well that's good to hear, I'm assuming you learned your lesson? I have a feeling high dose MXE is safer than high dose DXM so maybe look into MXE as a replacement. Also FWIW I went to the hospital with bleeding ulcers but because the CT scan came back normal they sent me home with nothing more than an $8,000 bill and no diagnosis. Hospitals are too rushed and busy to give you their full divided attention. Idk if your aware but bleeding ulcers can be fatal, I got more oit of my GP than the ER.
 
yeah they didnt realy pay to much attention to me, its still slightly enlarged but it seems to be getting better, im definately going to take a long break from dxm though
