I'm not what you would call a regular "ice" user. But in this instance, I smoked and snorted ( mostly smoked, through the weekend. I had no more until last night...wednesday. I woke up this morning and every muscle hurts and feels heavy. After only one night. I took several hits over the course if about 3 hrs beginning soon after waking. I am still in that 3rd hour and feel very sleepy. This has happened before. the muscle aches are like the pain i would have after being up for 2 or 3 days while using the meth of old...about 15 years ago. On several occasions i will experience this pain within 24 hours after smoking "ice"... And what about the sleepiness. Can anyone tell me why this happens and what I might could do too fix it or avoid it? Please refrain from stating the obvious...ie Dont do drugs.

muscle pain and sleepiness within 8 hrs of smoking "ice"

I am not a regular meth user.
I smoked mostly, only snorted a little over the weekend. I smoked again wednesday night with almost immediate sleepiness. By the time I woke up the next morning, granted I only slept 2 hrs, my entire body ached. That is within 8 hrs of first hit. This is not the first time and is a nuisance.
I do not have ADD
The pain is like the crash from the meth of 15 yrs ago.
Please someone tell me why it made me so sleepy and cause my body such pain. Btw there was little to no physical activity within these 8 hrs.
I do believe there were more impurities than the weekend batch. When I began to "burn off" that first shard, it smoked for a long time. The taste is also stronger

Hi goregirl, please don't make 2 threads on the same topic, thanks :) I've merged them together.

We can't speculate about impurities cuts or other potential drugs that may have been in your meth.

I will say it's actually not unheard of for stimulants to make people sleepy and to cause muscle pain. I guess you could try using less, and making sure you got sufficient sleep, water and food.

This isnt the same but when I go on a coke binge iving really solid coke, i get REALLY bad muscle aches the next day. LIke I played football for the 1st time in 20 years or something. Like to the point i have to use my arms to lift my legs into my car when i get in.

Stimulants can cause very slight unnoticeable muscle contractions which lead to muscle aches.
And if you never gave your body time to rest you can still feel sleep on meth.
You may not be able to fall asleep but you will feel very tired.
Give your body a good week to fully recover between sessions, especially weekend binges
