Misc Mucinex?? what...

so i don't know if this belongs in OD but, my friend states that last week he had an empty stomach and took a mucinex because he was sick and he got high from it. and i thought he was just lying but if anyone knows about this, im just curious. he only took one mucinex pill i don't know what the dosage is tho.:?
 
Maybe because he was sick and the medicine gave him relief he felt better and thought it was a high?
I'm not sure if all Mucinex has DXM in it, but even if it did, one doesn't seem like enough to do anything.
 
yeah thats what i thought cuz i knew that it had DXM in it but i wouldn't think that it would have enough in one pill to get him to a high. but he swears that it got high sooo i don't know.

Not all do, but the one that does has 30mg in the pill, and the max strength one has 60mg per pill. It also has 600mg of Guaifenesin in that pill, and 1200mg in the max strength one. The cold, flu, and soar throat one has DXM in it too, but even less (20mg) and also has acetaminophen, Phenylephrine HCL, and Guaifenesin, so nothing to get you high.
