I have a fairly high opiate tolerance, and I came across 285 mg of MS Contin all in 15 mg pills. Would these do anything, or would infer a buzz? And how much do I take? This is my first time on a forum. And I'm just looking for an answer. Hopefully I get one. And I know there time released but how would I break them down. I don't want to iv

hard to say as i don't know exactly how your tolerance is, but morphine with no tolerance is good enough for a buzz at the 15-30mg range. that can help you get an idea of how potent morphine is.
i've seen a lot of people saying MS Contin sucks though, i never tried, but i really like morphine IR, i know 30-45mg will leave me very sedated. nodding off of morphine is pretty awesome too

What brand?
To break the time release(with most brands) simply remove coating, grind down into a very fine powder, add water, and down it. Preferably filter it through a cottb first to remove all traces of gel.

Abd non one knows what a "fairly high" opioid tolerance is, 40mg methadone is a large dose for over 99% of the pop, but for some 89 mg isn't much.
But 30mg chronic oral morphine= roughly 20mg oxycodone; that is instant release of course, ER is about half aspotent,(often less) but lasts longer.

oxycodone hydrochloride (oxycontin) is 1.5:1 MS Contin (Morphine Sulphate). 450 oxy = 300 ms be careful. I'm not saying you are dicksizing at all but remember you can always take more but too much and you better hope the ambulance gets there quick enough. Are you mixing with other CNS depressants and what is your blood pressure low, mid, high? Too many variables for an accurate reply

Several years ago I was taking around 2 80's a day (snorting) and started using ms contin instead. I found 200mg orally gave me a really strong buzz. However, I do not know your tolerance so please don't jump the gun and take 200mg right out the gate without consulting with the people on this forum first. How often are you using, what are you using and how much? Once you answer those questions we could be better equipped to answer your question.

My er morphine pills are blue with a M on one side and 15 on the other side. These are made by Mallinckrodt. The simplest way I have found to convert them to ir is to use my pill cutter and divide them into 1/4th's and swallow. I get fairly quick onset this way and it is fun to take it this way 1 or 2 times a month but I would rather have the round the clock pain relief.
I'm not a fan or morphine. It does wonders for pain and lasts a long time orally but it severely lacks in the euphoria department for me. It seems to me that most people that really like oxycodone don't find morphine to be that euphoric. I would never buy them unless I was sick but again, that's just me. They say it's equipotent to hydrocodone if that helps.

It´s up to you bro...if you have a high tolerance to opiates, I would suggest you plugging those morphine sulfate pills instead of just eating...the BA is higher and the onset comes very quickly... but go easy, don´t to much at same time, as you dont know how your body will react to that... morphine is a very powerful drug and despite what people say, it should be respected even if you taking orally.
Myself, I dont have a huge opiate tolerance (40 mg of oxy knocks me out) , but when it´s about morphine, even low doses(30 to 90mg range) makes me feel extremely sedated, but lacks in euphoria...as a oxy lover, morphine is not my opiate of choice, but whenever someone offers me, I buy it...plus, morphine IR pills are extremely cheap if compared to oxycontin . In "crises" times (like now, without any oxy...) I love to plug morphine and smoke some weed just a little after...it´s very noddy and delicious for watching movies and enjoying a rainy day

I don't get a euphoric high from morphine either, but I do get a great feeling of contentment. Now when I mix my oxy with my morphine I can feel the euphoria.

The combo oxy/morphine is awesome ! Oxycodone itself is very euphoric but when some morphine is added, the nod becomes "heavier" and the euphoric effects even more noticiable.... it´s a strange thing about the morphine, because when injected it´s heaven...but plugging and/or eating , gives the analgesia and the sedation but lacks so much in euphoria
...that´s why I love the oxycodone...doesnt matter if I snort , plug or eat..the high is the same and the euphoric feeling also ! well it´s better stop talking about the oxy as I dont have any
