MS Contin orally...worked?!

So I have a slight tolerance to opiates, about 20mg oxycodone for a nice buzz. I took one 60mg MS Contin orally about two hours ago, and did nothing to the pill to combat the time release mechanism. I was not expecting any much of anything due to the poor oral bioavailability of morphine, but I am high as a fucking kite?! What's going on? Lol it's awesome but I'm just curious. Any input is greatly appreciated! ?

That's not such a farfetch'd outcome. I feel and I'm sure some will agree, that an opioid naive individual would probably use about 20mg of oxycodone to enjoy effects (not analgesia, euphoria). Even though you've some experience, you fall into this basic category. 60mg CR morphine is not going to turn you blue, but it could certainly get someone with your background high.

Another thing to be aware of with morphine, is its relative propensity for causing systemic histamine release. Pins and needles, flushing, itching and other bodily symptoms can cause morphine to make one feel more jammed.

Thanks so much for the reply dude. Yeah I guess I am still an opiate novice! Haha low tolerance kicks ass. I've definitely got a histamine release going on, but it's no worse than hydros or oxy have been for me. No where near as bad as the itchies I've gotten from codeine ?. This buzz has been an extremely pleasant surprise, especially paired with some top shelf bud. This is my first time taking an ER opiate, any estimate on how long this warm fuzzy buzz could last?
