Ms Contin or hydromorphone

Which is more recreational Ms contin or hydromorphone I have a buddy that owes me and he wants to pay with these , I will never boot either so keep that in mind with your answer , just looking to know which one gives a better buzz nasally ? Personally i am used to percs and vics and the occasional oc but i have never tried either ms or hydromorphone. Thanks in advance ,
 
If you are accustomed to Hydrocodone and Oxycodone, chances are, you may not like either of these. People that are drawn to the Codeine derivatives usually enjoy the mix of social stimulation and sedation as well as the surface euphoria. Morphine derivatives usually provide much more sedation and a deep, inner euphoria without much of the social effect.

However, if you are not willing to IV these, throw away the idea of Hydromorphone. It is the best IV Opiate/Opioid I've ever used, and it just plain doesn't work well any other way. Morphine is better orally when considering these two drugs.
 
Let's see, IMO no matter how you do MSContin it is worthless. Hydromorphone is only worth doing if you're gonna bang it.
 
never done hydromorphone, but i would think it depends on how much of each you are getting. 100mg of ms-contin is pretty fun if you rail it. i would rail about 30mg at a time. but to truly appreciate morphine you gotta slam it, which you cannot do with ms-contins.
 
Ok, to get things straight, you will not IV either Dilaudid or MSContin . Dilaudid being hydromorphone and MSContin being sustained release morphine sulphate.

My suggestion would have to go with the hydromorphone. Hydromorphone is a relativly weak opioid when taken orally. MSContin is also very weak orally. However, you can crush hydromorphone for a nice buzz at the right dose. MSContin is not a very good drug to snort, as it gels up when crushed and much of the drug is wasted. It is nearly impossible to break the time release of the MSContin, making it a rather crappy drug...my least favorite. Go for the hydromorphone.

Now, my answer might change if you were to tell us the dose of each opioid/opiates
 
Yeah, Morphine is best IV'ed too, but it can be thoroughly enjoyed orally and nasally as well. However, with 4mgs of insufflated Hydromorphone, I barely felt a high. It would take around 12mgs nasally to get me a nice buzz and probably 16-20mgs to get really high. That's a complete waste when you consider the usual price and the fact that 4mgs of Hydromorphone IV floored me. 30mgs of Morphine is enough to get me reasonably high, and I usually come across the MS-Contin 100's. That's enough to put me in a Morphine haze all day.

I stand by my opinion, but I can also see where K'dOUTinAZ is coming from. I guess just choose one and find out.

K'dOUTinAZ, what would be your preferred dose of insufflated Hydromorphone? What about for someone without a tolerance?

4mg of hydromorphone insufflated should give someone a nice buzz without tolerance. If someone has a tolerance to opioids than you would need to insufflate a dose of at least 8mg. More depending on your tolerance.
 
i've snorted 4mg hydromorphone w/ no tolerance and it felt like 2 percocet orally but much more sedating...
 
I agree.. I was highly disappointed and pissed that I choose to buy a 4mg Dilaudid over an OxyContin 40mg for $20 the day I insufflated it. Then another time arrived when I had the choice to get them, and I did once my friend assured me that he had an extra syringe. 4mgs floored me. It was like it wasn't even the same drug. I don't understand how something can have that different of an effect.
 
basically i can get either 5 hydromorphone 4mg tabs or two mscontin 100mg tabs, my tolerance is fairly low i usually take a couple of percs at a time sometimes 4 i have been doing so for a long time but i never go over 25mg at a time , so which one should i choice , shameless Bump
 
one more question what would snorting a 4mg hydromorphone feel like compared to oxycodone like how many mg would it be equilvalent to, thanks for all the replies bros and gals , bump
 
the only time i snorted hydromorphone i had no tolerance to speak of, and i ended up having to snort 3 pills (12mg) to get were I felt pretty good. I snorted one and felt a slight buzz, then uped it another pill getting to were i wanted to be. about an hour later i snorted another one, and that was that. all in all it sucked. i felt like i could have got higher taking 30mg of oxycodone all at once. I don't typically shoot stuff up, but with hydromorphone it makes much more sense. the high is completly different, it has a very intense rush as compared to other opiods/opiates.

all in all, i dont think either of these are really worth it if you really like good opiods/opiates. on the other hand if you hardly do them, give it a try. maybe opt for 1 mscontin and 2 4mg hydromorphone.
 
K'dout:- I dunno man... I don't question your knowledge on Opiates. You sure as hell seem more better informed than I am. But, I do know that there are MSContins that contain 200mg of Morphine. Now, that's a pretty hefty dose of Morphine if you ask me. Even though... it does still kinda have the time release on it.

But, from what I've heard and from my understanding, these time-release coating (apparantly it's ALL just in the coating... minus the fillers/binders inside the pill, etc...) can actually be simply scraped off, by merely adding a small swab of alcohol to a cotton bud and rubbing until all the green material, is no longer visible. Then eat pill.
Depending on when you've last eaten, or whatever... you should really feel the Morphine effects kick in at full-force. (200mg is a VERY dangerous amount to take, even orally... without the tolerance.) I think the tablets will take no longer than your typical onset of between 15-45mins.

The Morphine high (when taken orally), as said earlier... is usually a very sedating, inner-euphoria. You quite possibly will find it almost impossible to get off the couch, it's that sedating. Whereas Heroin, IMO... is more of an exterior-like euphoria, making you feel slightly stimulated in the smaller dosage range. The Morphine is definately a very strong depressive-like high.
 
ms-contin is fine if you're just taking it orally or railing it, but they're no good for IV.
 
You can't remove the time release of MSContin by scraping off any coating.

For both drugs, IV is the only way to go. That can be said with any drug that can be made into an injectable solution. However, it is especially true with hydromorphone.

If I were you I'd go with the MSContin and just eat them. The hydromorphone could go to someone more deserving.

I know it's perfectly fine not to like needles but argh. I'm jealous that people get such drugs as hydromorphone and then snort, or worse, eat them. I mean that's just torture.

So take your MSContin and eat them. Morphine is great.
 
i've tried to defeat the time release on mscontins many many times in the past. The most effective method I used was to crush the pill and soak it in some everclear to try and remove as much as the waxy shit as possible.
