After crushing, and parachuting some ms contin I started to get some pretty bad jaw pain and it sucks. Can I make this go away?

Ummm more morphine? But seriously i hvae parachuted ms contin many times and never had this issue. So maybe you have a actual oral problem.

What mg was the mscontin? is it really worth parachuting? Im prescribed 100mg mscontin twice daily. and when i take is as directed i dont notice any pain relief. ive told my doc and he just keeps increasing the morphine dose. Does it do something a little nicer if you parachute? i have the oblong shaped pill form, no naltrexone, no beads, so if i crush it its just powder. is it worth it? And as far as jaw pain goes I agree with the above statement, you may have a legitimate jaw problem. but ofcourse as Ive stated I havent parachuted them

I've never had jaw pain after popping a few ms contins either. The only thing i could think of is maybe you are clenching your jaw/anxious but you should relax yourself and..go with the morphine if you know what i mean.

@harm redux..
you seem to have a high tolerance already..i would think you would have to triple your dose to feel a buzz, if you feel anything at all since you take it twice daily already. Might not be worth it anyway popping ms contins isn't anything special..

@HFROSE I agree with both your points there. about the jaw clenching and my high tolerance. Im prescribed 100mg mscontin x2 a day and roxicodone 15mg 4x a day. and it still doesnt mask the pain very well. Im trying to get my doc to switch me to oxycontin, because morphine just does not work well in my body, even in hospitals they have to give me IV dilaudid instead of morphine. but oxycodone works well for my pain when i have the right dose but he still wont prescribe me the long acting version. probably due to its reputation and my age.

try maybe parachuting a mix of a few roxi and mscontin. Just know your tolerance. Or how bout some potentiators?

Ive tried some potentiators like tagamet at 400mg, gfj, dxm (even though thats not really a potentiator). and i wait about 30-45 minutes before i take my doses and i dont seem to notice a dif. However, today i finally achieved a feeling i wanted, i orally took 60 mg of oxycodone and insuflated another 15 and got some really good pain relief (among other good feelings). it just sucks that it takes so much just to relieve my pain to a tolerable level. Any ideas on how to lower your tolerance without abstaining from use? ive heard of magnesium as a potentiator as well as a way to lower tolerance. Ive even heard things about zinc. Does anyone know if those two actually can lower tolerance? or does it just do it for that dose?
