MPA - prolonged use issues

I've had a large amount of MPA sitting around at home for a while and got into the habit of having a little dab a few times a day. No large doses, no manic sessions; just a pick me up for work. After doing this for months, I started to notice that my mood was going a bit haywire, not depressed but a bit over-intense and up and down. I've also noticed that my blood pressure is almost permanently raised and I easily get overheated.

So yesterday I stopped and have felt dreadful since then. I've felt sick and faint, tired like I can't stay awake and had the shits big style. Feeling slightly better after 48 hours, but had to take minimal amounts just to keep away the worst of it.

I just wanted to share this as there isn't much on the longer term effects of taking MPA, and I'm quite worried about how it's effected me. I reckon I must have taken two to five dabs a day for several months, about the amount that will stick to the tip of a damp finger.

I'm going to stick to the occasional MPA/MDAI combo, quite nice and unlike either drug on its own.

I'm not surprised you have high blood pressure after taking MPA daily for months. It is responsible for leaving me with the worst case of vasoconstriction I'd ever encountered after a two day binge. I'm not sure how MPA has resulted in your tendency for overheating... Hopefully your sickness and light-headedness is just a passing phase, and not symptomatic of any other issues. If it continues, I'd strongly advise you see a doctor and have them check you over.

If I were you I'd leave MPA alone for good. It's not the greatest stim in the world and it comes with more red flags than most when it comes to potential health scares.

I got into mephedrone when it was legal and have been struggling to find something as a substitute since. They either seem to be poor substitutes or bonkers k-hole stuff.

Did a g once over a couple of days and really didn't rate it at all, not a patch on my beloved MDPV :(

I thought in the original patent papers for MPA it was demonstrated that it raised b.p and heart rate a lot more than amphetamine w.r.t. the level of mental stimulation provided.

Long term MPA use. (My own experience)

My own experience of MPA.

Male 30 weight 77kg
MPA 150mg to start with ( I don’t smoke or drink alcohol, but did MCAT when it was legal. But went a year without it without problems)

I was in good health before MPA as I had a full health check for HGV licence and passed. I worked out at the gym 3 times a week, mountain biked 20 miles twice a week and had a great sex life.

MPA gave me more energy and clear headedness to do even the most mundane stuff with enthusiasm, and no come down (to begin with), so you can get so much stuff done.

However. It makes you think that you are not addicted and you can go 2 weeks without it giving you a false sense of control. But all the time you don’t have it you have no energy or enthusiasm for anything. So you have more for a boost. After 3 months I could not work and I was taking it every day up to 10 times a day (up to 600mg a time). Feeling totally exhausted, unable to get hard and unable to get aroused by anything. I had to go to hospital for tests for exhaustion, fast heart rate and high blood pressure. My liver was damaged, and the left ventricle of my heart was enlarged, and not functioning properly, which cannot be fixed, ever. After agonising pain of withdrawal, I don’t do it any more. I am now 4 months free from it. I am working again now just one day a week, but I can never drive a HGV again. I cannot get a hard on without medication and my sperm count is 0. I get exhausted just walking upstairs.

I wish I never touched this stuff. In 7 months I have gone from being really fit to feeling like an 80 year old. Ok I know I was a dick to have taken so much, but it creeps up on you, fast, and you just don’t realise how much you have had until its all gone.

Didn't we all? Aren't we all? =D

Trust me, you'd be better off and safer just coming to terms with the fact that it's gone rather than trying every white powder in the hope that you'll find something that does the same job.
