Give it some time. The deep people are there, it's just that you have to wade through the sheep and blind hedonists to find them. And don't be too quick to judge others; just because someone looks like a square doesn't mean that they are.
'Nobody suspects the quiet guy in the back of the room'. I've had people from my past bump into me at a club or party and be absolutely amazed to see me there, much less high as balls. I look pretty clean cut, straight-and-narrow, but I can assure you that I'm anything but. Rebellion comes from within, not without.
