Maybe we could keep this here for a bit and then move it around to a few other drug fora, if the mods there are ok with it? Hmmm ill bring this up to the other mods and see what they think about that idea.

Guys, I hope signing this helps but I highly doubt that the war on drugs will ever stop. Way too many people making money from the war. Politicians & what not.
 
It will help. It probably won't make any laws change, but it's still worth signing. Avaaz played a pretty big part in preventing the anti-gay laws pass in Uganda, so the least it will do is spread awareness to the general public and put more pressure on governments.
 
the war on drugs is putting too much money into the governments pockets for them to ever stop..sure you might say legalize it and tax it and sure that would work but they make way more with it being illegal cause not only do they create and import and distribute it but they also make the busts and arrest people and fine them and thrn confiscate their property and sell it off for more cash

they arent gonna give up all those other sources of revenue

The governments play both side of the fence & get paid well for doing so.
