Opioids Moving from Methadone to Suboxone

Big time, 90mg of 'done is way too high to jump off of, especially it being a long-acting opioid.

Omen, I cold-turkeyed off of 16mg Bupe daily and the first like 5 days, I was surprised that I never really got sick...until I waited long enough. It was a walk in the park compared to coming off of Oxycontin, but the symptoms lasted so long and got worse by the day until I was sh***ing my brains out, having hot flashes, shaking, losing feeling in my extremities, and the Restless Legs thing got so incredibly bad that I could hardly walk and couldn't sleep at all for more than maybe an hour. I had to turn to Kratom to be able to work. Full agonist w/d is much worse, but the bupe w/d lasts so long that that it's actually worse in my opinion. 2 weeks in and I had no signs of it getting better.

Do it, bupe detox is easy I'm coming off 24mg and it's pretty painless.

edit: I don't know what the fuck your doctors are doing, you need to taper down to at least 30mg of methadone before even thinking about switching to buprenorphine, and even then you're going to be in the 24mg-32mg(ceiling dose range. You need to get back on the 90mg of methadone and endure tapering the 60mg. 90mg isn't even close to where you should be switching over, no amount of buprenorphine will even come close to holding you at the moment.

I'm actually good now. Yesterday was the first day I felt good and today's even better. Looks like I was lucky as hell. Thanks for all the responses.
