Movies that made you walk out (merged)

Heh, I can't believe some of you guys paid to see the movies you've listed. I've never walked out on a movie in the theatre. I've stopped watching many a dvd though; some after about 5 minutes.

i walked out of 3 and all were rather recent.

the first was ray, which one oscars out the ass.i just decided i really didnt give a shit what happened in the next scene.

the second was hte movie this past summer where the guy on the plane is there to get the girl on the plane to move a guys hotel room so he can kill him.i asked my date if we could leave and she acted like she wished i had asked alot sooner.it sucked

lastly four brothers.i had no idea what kind of movie it was really.never saw previews for it or anything,i just read a review right before we went and the reviewer liked it.after a few scenes i was like ooooooh its one of those movies.my cousin with a really low IQ probobly has the soundtrack and dvd.

thing is with these movies........they were all free even though i paid for them.of course you cant walk out of a movie and demand free movie passes because "it sucked"............but you can walk out and demand your money back because "the people in front of us have absolutely no manners and are ruining the movie for me,i want to come back another time to see it"

i got movie passes all three times.

wow i'm seeing some movies here... i wouldn't say are great but i definately enjoyed..

Moulin Rouge.. Gangs of New York...Envy was crap..but it wasn't intolerable, Freddie got fingered.. i've seen multiple times, The Devil Rejects, Formula 51 was half decent too, Batman begins, i'm kinda shocked about all of this except Freddy got fingered.

Only movie i ever walked out on was Be Cool

You're one of those people huh. 8( Stop bitching and deal with it like everyone else, i'm almost positive everyone behind the counter is tired of hearing your bullshit stories to get out of an admission price...

Yeah, that was perhaps the worst peice of shit I have seen in a LONG TIME. It even beats out jarhead. The funny thing is I was insulting it at the video store and one of the employees walks up talking about how he LOVED ALL THE GREAT ACTING! I was dumbfounded, andoOf course he had never even seen get shorty... Some people..

Hoop Dreams. Not because it was a bad movie, but because I hate sports documentaries, and didn't care much for the group I had to go see the movie with anyway.

<<The Dragon Slayer

Watership Down

I was 5 years old. Mum says I screamed in fright at the Dragon Slayer so she took me into the next cinema where Watership Down was playing. Of course, all the rabbits started dying and I sobbed so much she had to take me home.>>

Dragonslayer? That's the most underrated fantasy, ever. For shame! ;) I can vouch for Watership Down being horrifying for kids, though. :P

you mean the high school kids who realliy wouldnt give a shit if i burned the whole place down? no they handed me passes no questions asked and they didnt give a shit.why would they?why would you? yes im one of those people and will continue to be,i didnt ask for my money back,i asked for passes,if i pay for a movie,im going to finish one.

Be Cool was the biggest load of burning shit that I've ever seen and I live in farm country. ;) I wish I could have walked out of that film but I wasn't seeing it alone :

Carpool, perhaps the worst film of all time.
Night at the Roxybury just thinking about it puts me ill at ease.

Some movies that i've recently been watching with friends, but just given up due to shtityness and fell asleep/tuned out are:

The Devils Rejects
Kung fu hustle
That new one about nirvana
Almost turned 40 year old virgin off but it had some funny bits.

Never walked out on a movie at the cinema.. to expensive not to get my moneys worth.. and yes I sat through battlefield earth and was appaled.. travoltas head seemed somewhat enhanced/larger in it too 8(

I think the worst kids movie ever made was that one with I think its Robin Williams called TOYS... I can still remember to this day sitting in the cinema in agonising boredom wanting to leave but I was only 6 years old so had no say in the matter.

I walked out of Saw with my girlfriend, it was too disgusting to begin with. We then sneaked into Ocean's 12 which turned out to be a BIG MISTAKE! That movie was terrible:p

I've also walked out of Bandits, i just couldn't get into it, was so boring, zzzzzz

I later watched Saw on dvd and it was a great film, one of my faves.

Post a movie (or movies) that made you walk out of the theater. Also post what set you off and made you realize that you needed to leave immediately, and how long into the movie it was. Some movies are so terrible that even if it was impossible to sneak into another movie you would still walk out of the one you just paid 8 or 9 bucks to go see. Here's an example:

Movie: See no Evil
Why: The bad acting, annoying cinematography in the intro sequence, and pathetic violence were almost bearable... but then this hip-hop type instrumental track started playing in the background that was soooo terrible, and soooo homemade, that I couldn't even sit in the theater anymore.
When: about 5 minutes into the film is when this song started

BTW this is different from the "worst movies" thread because it involves the physical act of paying for a movie ticket, and then being offended or bored enough to actually get up from your chair and leave.

Coach Carter... not that it was really a bad movie, but I just didn't care at all about it during the ending and it seemed to drag on.

The only reason I didn't walk out of Phantom Menace was because I was there as part of someone's birthday and it would have been way poor form....otherwise I totally would have left within the first 20-30 minutes though; the rampant racist stereotyping and the complete uselessness of the women in the film were a biiiig turnoff..

dragon heart
in the room
punch drunk love
i would have walken out of match point, but didn't because i was with my mom. once out she told me she would have walken out if not for me
