Anyone else love studying or doing homework on opiates? I love popping a couple hydros and just studying with a new warm glow throughout my body. Obviously not so many I start nodding like crazy, but enough to feel good.

It's a good way to train yourself to study better. Just make sure you don't go overboard because you won't want to do anything during withdrawal. Amphetamine (adderall/dexedrine) is a much better drug for those purposes. "Everythings better when you're high", be careful.

In the beginning, before you pick up a habit and become addicted, yeah taking opiates makes you wanna do things, and does give you this motivation/confidence.

However, as you start using more and more, stronger opiates and higher doses, that goes away big time. Once you get physically and mentally addicted, it does the exact opposite, it saps away all your motivation and drive, all your passion. You'll find yourself constantly saying you'll use and then do this, or do that, blah blah, but then you just do absolutely nothing.

I would have to agree although swim takes heroin becuase of a herniated bulging disk and my doctors will only give me tramadol which does not help any advice here

This x 1000 I am so glad I quit I finally picked up where I left off. The opiate motivation is lies

For me, hydrocodone has a bit of an edgy feeling to it, so I gotta take 2.5mgs of Valium to level me off because I don't like any opiates that give me energy/motivation.......I have that motivation naturally.

That's why I hate oxycodone........everyone I know loves the motivation they get from hydro/oxy.

That's why I like morphine the most, it gives me that laid back chill feeling.
