My 17 year old son is in recovery after 3 years of drug use. He just introduced me to this site and said it has saved his life. Now we're exploring it together and finding interesting stuff about staying sober. Where do I post to find support for the supporters? Anything I should know given my situation?

Hi, my son is going to be 20 and also in recovery like me. We have a Recovery Support section that I know you both will like.

The 'Recovery Section' is a great place to start - we also have a section called 'The Dark Side' where you would be able to share any problems that arose due to your sons addiction and maybe get some support and help about that also.
Your free to post in all sections - it doesn't have to be all about support and recovery, you may just wan't to join a few discussions with people who will not judge you or your son due to problems with drugs (not always as easy in real life). If you have any problems or are unsure where to post etc just ask and somebody will point you in the correct direction - alternatively you can post your question in 'Homeless' and the mods will move to the appropriate forum for you.
