This is for opinions on nature and animals " critters "
People say everything has a reason, BUT if so what is the purpose of animals like squirrels, birds and lions ?

This is kind of like a poll or survey

1.I was just wondering what your favorite animals is and why and what is its name if you have one?

2.What makes that critter so exciting to you ?

3.Do you have any exotic pets ? " Excluding gold fish and hamsters "

4.Do you like squirrels and can you name all of the types of squirrels ?

5. Have you ever had a squirrel get into your house, and if so how did you get it out ?

6.Do you think squirrels get cold in the snow ? How in the world can they just sit there chillen in the snow trying to dig. I think that would be so cold.

My favourite animal would be the felis domesticus. Why? Because cats just don't give a fuck, they have an attitude like they rule the universe and perhaps they even do, secretly. I wouldn't be surprised if one day the cats take over, purring like a real horrorshow and all... :p

I like squirrels, but as far as naming goes I only know the 'eekhoorntje'.

I've never had a squirrel in my house, fortunately. Was on the porch of a squirrels house once though, but it was really nuts and all. Motherfucker started throwing oak nuts all around. Bet he was trying to impress the lady squirrel in a tree further up the hill, crazy antics imvho. :|

Don't believe squirrels get cold in the snow, they are much too furry and bad-ass to get cold.

'eekhoorntje', that's the name of a squirrel ? or obviously you named a squirrel ?
cats, I'm pretty sure that if the cats actually took over they would easily be taken out by k9's

Most people that never saw a fight between a cat and a dog think so.
Trust me, the average dog will not win a fight with the average cat.

uhh, ... uhh I know a certain breed of dog who attacked a cat.
tore it to bits ..
Of course, but that's a certain breed, perhaps a pitbull or something similar?
But the average 'ahh he's so cute, even a 2yo can cuddle him!' dog will not stand a chance with the average 'oohh, he purs all day long on my lap!' cat.

My parents have both a cat and a dog.
Our cat was once 'ambushed' by the two golden retrievers of our neighbors.
Even before our dog could jump in to 'save' our cat, the cat already got both of 'em dripping off - with their tails between their hindlegs. :)
(LOL, our own dog even took a blow to the nose too, since our cat was all fucked up K1-style =D)

It's not the dog, rather the sick person behind the reason.
I wouldn't say certain but more along the lines of larger breed compared to small typical house cats

^ my guess woulda been SO. /shrug

1&2: Don't really have a favourite but I'm fascinated by primates; they're a good reminder that we too are animals, the difference being not one of essence but scale.

3: Nope.

4&5: We don't have squirrels in Australia, but we have our fair share of possums :) And no, I don't know how many kinds of possum there are.

6: Who's to say? Maybe they don't. Maybe they do, but they're just used to it, knowing no winter without a perpetual chill?

and that's why squirrels are so incredible.
its also weird watching them when they dig under the snow.
All you can see is its little tail bobblin around on top its pretty interesting
so you have never been attacked by a squirrel ? could you imagine?

Does getting stoned (no, not with the weed but like in Iraq) with nuts count as 'being attacked'?
If so, then I have been under attack multiple times, at times even by multiple squirrels.
Good thing they don't try to shit on you, like some of the birds around here... :\

so you are saying that a squirrel attack you while you were blitzd in iraq by many squirrels ?

theres no 'reason' for anything. we are basically the result of the way chemicals react with each other and the laws of physics. its actually totally amazing to think about.

these different animals exist to occupy different ecological niches and because a certain chemical called dna has a tendency to self replicate.

You said it best and yea it is pretty weird how something like the universe and everything within it just popped up in the middle of nothing. It really could make you rethink everything that you know and what is around you.
