SHOCKING... FBI agents are quizzing a mother after an online video was published showing a toddler who has apparently taken the drug Ecstasy.

TEXAS authorities have interviewed the occupants of a minivan who appear in an online video that shows a toddler who might have been given ecstasy, as authorities try to determine whether the child actually ingested the powerful street drug.

"They don't have enough information to say with any certainty whether or not she was exposed to any drugs," Lt. John Martin, a spokesman for the Harris County Sheriff's Office, told ABC News in the US.

"Their story is basically that they told the little girl to act that way and they were basically filming her doing what they said," Martin said.

Investigators, under the leadership of the FBI's Houston field office, have also interacted with the toddler, Martin said.

In the disturbing video, a girl roughly 2 years old sits huddled on the floor in the back seat of a minivan, her eyes rolling back in her head as the young women in the car tease, laugh and poke at her. At times, she looks unresponsive to a teen playing with her face and sticking iPod speakers in her ears.

At least four females, who appear to be in their teens or early 20s, are captured on tape laughing at the little girl as she sits stone-faced throughout most of the 2½ minute clip. Another child, also not wearing a seat belt, can be seen in the back seat of the vehicle.

"She's taking that hit like a soldier," a female voice says. "She's rolling, girl, she's rolling."

"Rolling" is a term commonly used to describe the effects of Ecstasy, a potentially lethal street drug that is often associated with the club scene.

MDMA, the active ingredient in ecstasy, acts as both a stimulant and a psychedelic, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

In total, there were nine people in the minivan, including three adults, the toddler, an infant and four teenage girls under 17, Martin said. One of the adults, he said, was the 21-year-old mother of the toddler featured in the video.

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services is involved and will now work to ensure the child's proper care. Authorities, meanwhile, will continue to probe any illegal activity -- including the possibility that the toddler was drugged.

I know i'm a bit late on this one and i kind of wish i didn't watch it.. this has got to be one of the most horrific things i have ever seen.

whether its real (which i think it is,i mean look at the kid and the cretins looking after her) or not its disgusting.

even if it is fake i think its still really sad, isnt the most important thing about being a child being naive and untainted to such things a drugs and being loved and cared for. i really cant believe people could treat a kid like this.
 
NO wthat i have gone back and read some of the posts let us remember that they said the child was 2 years old!! And i dont buy that she is "easily impresionable" Having a 3 year old and a 1 and 3/4 old I can tell u NIETHER (and they are VERY smart kids) could NOT act this out let alone as long as she did (kids that age dont have that kinda of a attention span)

Wow, if that was real(which seemed fake IMO anyone can make there eyes like that(didn't even shake) specially some little kid who wants attention...as you see in the vid she keeps doing it after repeated "Stops")...it angered me beyond...like prohibition anger or animal abuse. Like someone just skinned my dog alive and raped my girlfriend and killed my mom and toked my weed. I seriously wanted to go through my monitor and yank that bitches hair out, tear all her fingernails off, rip all her teeth out and go, "WHY ARE YOU SO F**KING STUPID!!!!?" Then take a cheese gradder and.....

Just another reason why we still have prohibition. Weed is one thing and even then...but some random suicide pill to a little girl?....F**KING STUPID B!TCH! Another f*cked up kid with no real parents to live in this world.

I don't even get disturbed easily, other people shooting each other, people being eaten by animals or killed...whatever, but this was just beyond. On a whole new scale.....RAGGED!

Not really... I live in Houston. Its all over the news. The people have been found, and there is an investigation- mostly a CPS investigation. But as of now, they are still free, the child is still with her family.

I mean, think about it... The family is all claiming it was a "joke". The only thing the police can do at this moment is issue a ticket for the child not being in a child seat while in the car. There is no proof of E actually being involved. So the other aspects are child protection issues, which will require a lot of investigating by CPS. They'll probably want a blood test to detect for drugs. But depending on how long ago the video was shot, there may not be anything left to detect. So without that evidence to use, it will turn into an on-going CPS investigation. And most likely, once all the hype dissipates, it will all just disappear.
 
i saw ths on CNN this morning, and it totally blew my buzz. that is so fucked up that someone could think to give a child that young a drug like X. even if in some case of the kid taking the pill from the parents with out them knowing, you would think the parents would take the kid to the ER or call poison control or something, not let the kid sit there and fry...

i dunno, someone said they think its fake, it could be, but the way that little girls eyes keep fixing in the back of her head, it reminds me when i used to roll, how that felt when its ahrd to move your eyes.

i hope these scumbags get sent to prison for a long time. in cases like this, taking the child away wouldnt do much in the way of making the parents shape up. they would prolly just think of it as one less mouth to feed. fucking white trash scumbags.
 
I have actually had to deal with CPS before (i had a puppy that had JUST went poo in my apartment and the maintanence guys showed up before I saw it,he saw it and called them on me) and belive me when I say that THEY ARE ASSHOLES! They get worse than kneedeep into your shot,they swim in it!

They where only there for some poop on the ground but still took drug tests and accused us of bein Meth heads and it was like a week of them constantly comin in and out of our house! THIS IS IN NEVADA!! Im sure that in Texas the CPS will ass rape em and that the little girl is goin away!
 
You can tell they were worried about her though because they kept covering her eyes when they rolled back in her head and told her to "stop rolling so hard".

Not really... In TX they CPS is way overloaded. In less extreme cases (obviously this is an extreme case) it takes 3 months or more before they even send a case worker out. Obviously this case required immediate attention.

But beyond overloaded, they are very fearful of taking action without justification. So investigations tend to drag on.

Basically they are over loaded, over-worked, under-paid, and afraid of litigation.
 
wow...they have no probs here in Nevada fuckin u...as like i said there wasnt ever really a case but they insisted and fuckin around with us!
 
Did anyone watch Nancy Grace yesterday? As rage inducing as the video is, that fucking show pissed me off even more. The staggering amount of sensationalism (they played the video throughout the whole show) and misinformation (They claimed a dose is 50mg and lasts between 6 to 12 hrs, lol; AND that it causes brain damage with only ONE dose!) combined with the stupidity of the dumb twats who gave the kid E in the first place just makes the responsible drug culture at large seem evil. Anything to drive home the point that ALL drugs are bad, mmmkay! *except the ones pharmaceutical companies and doctors peddle to everyone* FUCKING STUPID FUCKS!!!
