This is obsurd. Why are all of you people freaking out? I do not see any reason as to why this kid would have been hurt by this experience, other then the fact that he would have been surronded in excited people screaming and worrying and rushing about with him through the hospital.
On the pyschological side- If this kid was just sent positive vibes he should have has nothing to worry about, acid doesn't just make people freak out. As a young child he shouldn't have any bipolar or other pychotic issues yet, my guess. How would this odd exiperince from Lsd be any different then the first year or two of his life, how could an lsd trip in any form be that different from being a young child and learning how a new world works??
On the physical side- As far as I've read Lsd is not harmful. To children, adults, or animals. It's as harmful as water, taken in small or big doses. To my knowledge the common lsd hit is 75-150 micrograms. A microgram is 1 millionith of 1 gram. That is such a small ammount. Even nine hits is a tiny ammount.
As to say this women is a bad parent. That is wrong, you know nothing of her, or her parenting style. Reglious beliefs etc. Yes we are in modern day America. But how many native cultures did and still use what america calls "drugs" in a religous/spiritual manner? To these cultures it is like drinking tea to is to the english, South America tribes still drink ayahuasca, some on a daily basis as they have done for hundreds of years. And these people usually live their lives content, happy. Growing in spirit and not in monetary value. The whole tribe drinks it, and DMT is agruably more intense experience then Lsd.
Not saying everybody should dose thier whole families, but this is a different lifestyle, and it is real. People have lived that way for a long time and they live satisfying lives. People should be more open, inquisitive. Wonder why this happened, what all the situations were and contrast that to a different view. Why attack people for being different? All I'm saying is humans have taken pyschoactives for a very long time and societies did not used to view them in this way. Most drugs only became unlawful within the last 40 years, Many people alive today still remember when it was all legal.
