mostly used drug around you

MDMA & Weed.

My circle isn't really into amphets... we have a group of about 10 really close mates and we just love how MDMA makes us even closer. We all love our Drum n Bass & Dubstep too...so everyone just loves eating molly and jammin on the decks.

I'm in Brisbane (SE)...loving the consistent flow of crystal and MDMA pills lately :)
 
cheers for the reply's :) its interesting to read what different drugs go round in the circles you know, i guess its just a bit of where you are and who your with,

for my area mostly Cannabis MDMA, 'ice' & LSD.

Do you think that there any drugs that a greatly more harmful when used alot but not at the same time? I heard some one say the other day that "weed and ice can lead you to a psychosis quick smart as your brain goes up and down all the time" lol. Are there any others examples of something like that with other drug 'combos' even tho there not always used at the same time?

Hahah, does this person work for the Herald Sun?
Staying-up for ridiculously long periods of time - on ice - gives you psychosis - a far more likely scenario when I DONT have bud!
Fucken HATE getting on amps these days when i dont have a pile of ganja waiting for me at the end of it all!
Well... mabey 'hate' is a tad strong=D But bud is the only substance ive found that brings me down pleasently enough, to the point where I can actually fall asleep!
Unlike booze, where i have to quickly smash at least half a slab - hoping ill just eventually pass-out... :(

Although, i guess if you just sat there and smoked a crackie - then a bong - then a crackie - then a bong -over and over for long enough - it could happen? At the very least you would get fucken sideways man!:)
 
Meth, Weed and Pills. In that Order.

But with various RC's fairly prevalent behind those, 5/6-APB, Ketamine, Benzos.

Methamphetamine is quite well implicated in causing psychosis. think about it, you have all this dopamine extra dopamine being used (higher levels of dopamine are implicated in schizophrenia and psychosis) coupled with the fact people often use it for days and don't sleep and eat. so the body and brain is under immense strain, which coulod cause a psychotic episode.

Weed, IMO, doesnt cause schizophrenia, but can contribute to it happening in people who have a good likelihood of suffering it anyway (ie. genetic or other rish factors are already present). For some people, they would develop it anyway, without the weed. For others, it might be the straw the broke the camel's back.

So yeah, combining the two together, I think would definately up the risk of psychosis. Also, some people get paranoid and have delusions on weed. as they do on meth. if they smoke bongs, when they are coming off a 4 day bender, I could see their mental state becoming quite twisted.

In terms of other combos. dxm + SSRIs (antidepressants), or DXM + MDMA = serotonin syndrome (potentially fatal). GHB + alcohol (potentially fatal). Cocaine and alcohol (higher risk of liver damage - makes a more toxic metabolite). psychedelics plus stimulants (cocaine, meth etc.) = higher risk of a bad trip/psychosis. benzos + opiates (greatly increases the risk of death).

0Generally drug combos increase the risks of overdose, or damaging physical or mental side effects. I doubt there are many cases where solo use of a drug is more dangerous than using it in combination with another substance

i should have stated in my post, alcohol and tobacco first and foremost and coffee i guess.
 
Well as of late nothing but alcohol or coffee, use to be weed/mdma or meth sadly none of those now :(
 
grog & pot. middle class

with friends in lower classes its ice, smack and pot. pot is almost like tobacco in terms of availability and usage

i too wished people would fiend more for acid then the above.
 
My main "normal' circle drink and smoke bud, with a few dexies, shrooms, nangs and acid thrown in. Some of them neck a lot of pills. None will touch "hard" drugs like harry or shard.

The other circle I know are big on ice. Their lives literally revolve around it.
