I like Radiohead and Outkast as well, Sn2 is right... I just happen to think "Speakerboxx / Love Below" and "Kid A" both recieved way too much hype / credit compared to the other (much better) releases from these artists. I never said these artists (or even those particular albums) are "bad" by any means.

In the case of the Arcade Fire however, I just think they are bad. And they ARE extremely well-known, and well-praised by "indie" reviewers. Maybe a random dude on the street has never heard of them, but they are much ovverated in the music press.

Andre's disc was cool in the fact that he branched out away from hip hop.. and actually caught on. That being said, i don't like either disc.

I think Radiohead's last effort was the worst and most hyped. Kid A, Ok Computer, and ever other disc are fucken great IMO. I just think they've gotten tired and repetitive.

I think every single Nirvana album is wonderful and i don't think it could be hyped enough. Same goes for all beck's albums.

What other indie bands do the Arcade Fire record sound like then? I love that album.

On the other hand, Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head is just incredibly fucking dull.
 
Oasis - Whats the Story

and Mylo - Destroy Rock and Roll was alright but didn't cover much new ground and is hardly the saviour of dance music the UK music press hailed it as.

after being a fan of all the previous outkast releases, you can not tell me that horrible audio diarreah is worth listening to more than once, maybe twice if you're on some drugs.
