most fortunate pharmy 'find'

i found a bottle of acetaminophen/ codeine elixir. it says take one tablespoon everyfour hours. it has some small marks on the side that go up to 200 then some that go up to 7.
i was wondering what these measurments were? and how much codeine is in each tablespoon?
 
^ If you read the whole thing, you would realize the #'s 1-7 was the volume in ounces and the #'s 1-200 was the volume in milliliters.

And we can't tell you how strong it is, you'll have to read the label to find out. It should tell you in terms of mg/5mL (that is milliters per teaspoon; 5ml = 1 teaspoon).
The number will be in the form XX/ZZZ, which will be the amount of codeine/amount of acetaminophen. The higher number is the amount of acetaminophen.
 
I usually don't find large amounts, but I've had quite a few nice finds in my day.

I found 63 Lorcet 10's on the kitchen table one night after a pharm/rollin' party at my house. Needless to say, I was ecstatic(no pun intended). Maybe I bought them, maybe I traded E for them(I was dealing at the time), or maybe some poor soul that I didn't know left them there. Oh well, it was awesome.

Recently I found 1mg Ativan in the kitchen cabinet, just sitting there.

I used to CONSTANTLY find Xanax bars all over my dad's old house. He was getting a script of 90 a month and then buying a few hundred or so every couple weeks, so needless to say, we were always folded and dropping bars all over the place. Nothing beats finding a few bars just by pulling out the cushion in the chair when you're desperate and going through benzo w/d's.

There's alot more, but I don't feel like writing a book about all the pharmaceuticals I've found in my day.

I've found tons of old hydrocodone/oxycodone in medicine cabinets. Never really found much else but those two...
 
Call me trash for raiding peoples medicine cabinets, but a couple weeks ago I found seven 2mg Dilaudid in a random persons bathroom cabinet. The bottle was 7 years old, so I don't feel bad about stealing all of them.

Any guilt was promptly forgotten once they were up my nose :)

Wow this should be in a book titled You Might be a Junkie If...

You trade a video game console for drugs. The next joke would be and then you try to explain why it was ok on a message board for junkies.

I found a few skelaxin in a shoebox, dont remimber how it got there. I don't think i'm going to eat these, they smell to much like rubber.

But the thing is, mpetrucci got a damn good deal. Thats a lot of morphine, and the ampules are a total score. If I was still using, and I had an x-box, I'd make that trade in an instant. Then I could sell half of those pills and buy a new x-box with the cash, while still keeping all the ampules and the other half of the pills. I guess I'm what you'd call a savvy businessman. ;)
But really (and sadly), I've known people who have sold things worth so much more for so much less - a friend of mine hocked an x-box 360 for $30 (the price of a gram of tar heroin out here).

That and they are rather useless.
I guess some people might get some use out of them by taking them with opiates, or something like that, but they're 98.5% useless to most people.
 
When i first started getting into prescription pills, i searched my medicine cabinet and found a bottle of .25mg alprazolam, 2 full 30 quantity bottles of 5/500 hydros, and a 3/4 full bottles of codeine with promethazine. I was pretty excited to say the least.

I used to do pest control for a living, and one time I was spraying an office for fleas and everyone had to leave the room. Well sitting on one of the desks was a couple prescription bottles sitting in plain sight, needless to say I had to take a look. One was Opana 40's, and the other were the 5's...I ended up "getting" 18 of the 40's and 6 of the 5's. I quit that job a week or two later and luckilly no one ever questioned anything.

Honestly, That is not a find. That is a theft. Imagine how much pain that person must of been in to be prescribed those kind of drugs and imagine how much pain and withdrawal he/she had to endure because of your theft. That's honestly a horrible thing to do and karma is a bitch.

Hope this doesn't eat away at your conscience, but somehow I doubt you have one.
 
only fortunate finds i've made are misplaced oxy tabs, pot, valium and temazepam (those were a given to be misplaced in my early stages of using benzos).

i've misplaced fit packs only to have my mum find them, as well as my dad. nothing bad come out of that. i have the feeling both of them came across them and took them to make a point to me. they gave them back though :)

You know I thought about that, and since the bottles were filled 3 weeks prior, and damn near full I highly doubt the person was taking the dose they're supposed to be taking.

And what about all the pills that get sold w/o a script...do you think none of those are stolen from someone that needs them ? I'm sure you have at one point in your life bought something that someone else needed, do you feel bad when you do someone elses medicine ? I highly doubt it.

And yes, I have a conscience.
 
Dude, I was just fucking with you. Honestly, I believe most of the people that have done pharmies have taken someone's stolen meds depending on where they get them from. I've stolen meds from a family member and I don't think I can ever forgive myself for doing it. In fact, I have never mentioned it to anyone, ever, until now. Karma did bite me in the ass and to this day I still feel horrible. I know first hand what the other party goes through so I was hoping that I could deter you from doing this in the future. Hopefully you can learn from this terrible thing that you did. Despite whether the person was using their full script they don't deserve their meds being stolen especially if they need them in the future.

Anyways, I didn't mean to come across as an asshole, but sometimes we all need a kick in the ass to show us what we have done as addicts is wrong. Even now I would be tempted to take those but I don't think I could live with myself if I did it again. Hope that explains it better to you and I hope that you didn't take great offense to what I said. I just hope you learn that your actions hurt others.
