Most advanced/most complicated bong thread

[Help?!?!]

An ashcatcher is a seperate piece that is placed on the bong where the bowl would be placed and then you put the bowl in the ashcatchers joint. Its pretty much like a small extra filter but the main reason I enjoy them is because they build up resin instead of your bong. I mean you still get small amounts of resin in it but no where near as much and if your like me and cherish a newly cleaned bong then its perfect. A perc is an extra filtration system put inside of the bong and are usually tree or dome percs(might be another kind but I can't seem to remember). Tree percs have two or three arms extending into the water in the small extra chamber. Dome percs are cylinder esque and hollow and have a small piece of glass going upwards into the dome and the water is at the bottom of the dome which has small slits for the smoke to travel through.

Right, i'm gonna get ripped to pieces for asking this. But wtf is an ashcatcher? wtfs a perc? theres a couple other words I can't remembe.


Basically my experience with glass bongs, exactly the same design as plastic, bowl goes into water, then you have a big glass tube you toke from. I've never even seen some of these things attached to these bongs.

SOmeone care to help me? as you've guessed i'm not a glass man. (cheap one broke, bought an expensive one and that broke )

Ashcatcher = basically a chamber containing some water for more filtration / cooler hits like a "mini bubbler"

Diffuser: A downstem with multiple holes in the glass, diffuses the smoke spreading it over a larger area / causing increased bubbling theoretically providing a cooler hit
