Most addictive substance? (your opinion)

From all the drugs I've tried meth got me hooked super quick. And to the point of retardation. I pawned all my shit, became homeless, had to go to rehab, etc. haha that drug had me good. I haven't had any in over 2 years though so woot

All the studies say methamphetamine.

It has the highest rate of relapse cause it literally destroys dopamine receptors which therefor kills pleasure w/o the drug.

actualy, they arent. stimulants are known for causing serious hardcore psychological, or "mental" addiction, but as far as a phsycal addiction goes, amphetamines and coke......neither of them are addictive in that sense. the only wds you will experience are psychological wds. you must not know what addiction really is, and you must not have much experience with things like opiates and benzos. now THOSE are severaly phsycaly addictive.
id say alcohol, benzodiazepines, opiates, and barbiturates..........are the very most phsyicaly addictive substances........with methadone taking the cake for probably worst addiction possible id say followed my klonopin, and alcohol in that order. also, its strange, but caffeine is more physicaly addictive than amphetamines. caffeine causes alot of people hellish wds.
please correct me if im mistaken, i just have always been under teh impression that addiction to speed was all mental.

What do tou call serious dopamine receptor damage where life is in constant depreession and agony w/o the drug. Methamph has the highest relapse rate at 97% and the highest suicide rate by far. If that's not's the most "addictive" than either alcohal(which is far worse than any benzo habit(gallon of vodka a day for many years) or benzos, because plainly......you could die.

I mean some methheads locked in prison for life(literally and figuratively}, will have nothing but agonizing depression and no fun ever again, even orgasms don't feel good, for life. The worst methadone or a benzo habit will do, if they don't kill you, is feel like crap for 6 months to a year. nothing permanant.

No drug is harder to stay away from in the long run, than heroin. If you ask someone who really and truly have been severly addicted to several drugs, that is the answer most of them will give. Notwithstanding that benzo WD is more painful in the long run, or that crack/meth addiction is as hard to beat the first months.

we have cures for herion addiction with buph, meth heads don't. and I've heard of cravings for meth being lifelong, I was addicted to meth, heroin, oxy, crack, methadone, alcohal, and benzos. and none are a picnic, but phyicially benzos and alcohal are the worst.

Opiates

After being addicted to cocaine for about a year I have to say opiates are by far the most addicting of anything I've ever tried, well, next to cigarettes. Im massively hooked on opiates and its bad. I take 60 mg of oxy right when I wake up and then try to hold off til about 8 pm ( I wake up between 2 and 4 PM though) to take the hydrocodone that I did a CWE from the night before. Im going to be out of everything after tomorrow though and I don't know what the fuck I'm going to do. The CWE I do consists of 20 vicodin pills and I down the whole thing. Tonight I'm craving so bad I think I'm gonna have to extract another 20 pills. Thats fucking 200 mg hydrocodone and 60 mg oxycodone in less than 12 hours.

...Actually...fuck that. Im taking the last of my oxy which is 40 mg and I'm gonna do a CWE. my habit has controlled my life...don't start doing opiates if you want to keep a life.

According to statistics 93% of people that use glass will relapse, Making it one of the most addictive drugs out there. quitting is harder than heroin.

everyone's answer are sunbjective to your personality someone as said this allready.for me its opiates in general.heroin being the boss of them all for me

Amphetamine is the only drug I've every been truly "addicted" to, but quitting wasn't all that difficult. I felt like hell and ate or slept constantly for a week or so, but after that I was fine.

Nicotine!! Think about this, cig's give you a cool buzz the first few times you smoke it, then what? No buzz, no high, no nothing but you keep on smoking... just a stim that makes you believe it is relaxing you.

Oh, and I hear Substance D is VERY addicting.

definately nicotine.
other than that, for me, it wouold be cocaine because its so easy to find where i live.
everytime i say im going to quit my "friend" hands me a 20 for free. damn.

Found this site while checking out my new Dilaudid Rx I got today after gall bladder surgery. LOVED it on the IV but booting anything goes to the top of the intensity list. The pills are just okay. I've been on vicodan for years for a back injury and they don't do anything but relieve pain - no euphoria. Tried some of my husband's oxycontin and that's a bit more of a high. I might have to mix the Dilly and teh Oxy and see how that is.
Addictions... mentally to Cocaine, and food (not in that order)... also ambien - i can't give that up either. Only thing that really scared me was hubby's experience with Fentynol patches. it's a wild wild world...

to the person who keeps rambling off about how serious stimulant addiction is: dude get teh fuck over it and look at the facts: amphetamines and coke are NOT physically addictive, they are a psychological addiction. a benzo WD will make you feel like HELL for a few weeks to a years and opiode wd will make you even sicker but not for quite as long. methadone, will have a full grown man screaming at the top of his lungs like a baby. and once you fuck up your opie/benzo receptors your pretty fucked. your brain builds new pain receptors, that dont go away. you dont know shit so shut the fuck up crack head.
people claiming nicotine, i dont even believe nicotine is addictive. i have never felt addictive tendencies with it, and the real research ive sseen is that nicotine really is not addictive. the medical comunity premotes that lie cause then people buy there fuckign 50 dollar a ten pack nicotine gum. cig companies promote the addiction model becasue it makes usesers feeel like hopel;ess addicts. really, they just smoke more becasue they like smoking, and now they are told by everyone that they are addicted and they believe it. and they think a cig would be nie and relazing and they have one so they are now convinced they are addicted. nicotines is an amazing, rather non toxic chemical that is showing great things in being able to prevent alzheimers, parckinsons, several types of cancer, as well as improve mood and memory. smokers are also more likely to survive a heart attack. the reason if any that any tobacco smoker dies is not due to tobacco or nicotine, but to the radioactive fertalizers it was grown with, and the 600 extra chemical additives that no one has studied the effects of when burnt and inhaled. even these things are probably not what kills smokers, as teh world oldest people have all been daily smokers, and one 144 year old said smoking was teh key to her long life. like i said, the radiation is likely responsible for lung damage, but theres actualy no real link between smoke and cancer. none at all in fact. and if you smoke cannabis, youll have an expectorant to cough out all that tar and soak your insides with anti-carcinogens. but hey what do i know?
