I would have to say Methamphetamine, only because I have done almost every drug known to man and thats the only one I ever got hooked on. Of course it is more of a psycological addiction. Physical addictions can be much much worse.

for me quitting smoking was one of the easiest things i've ever done. i went without smokes for about 4 hours one day, and i noticed just how small the withdrawels really are, and i haven't smoked since with almost no wd's. different for different people i guess.

the only thing im addicted to now is cannabis, which is also easy to quit after 2-3 days, but i always find myself going back to smoking every day after a couple weeks

These answers are subjective. Let's take an addict using for example crack and heroin for years. Which is the drug he will buy if you give him some extra money? 8 out of 10 will answer more heroin, not more crack. If addicts use cocaine or crystal meth, and then stop for 7 hours, no doubt almost all of them will have an insane craving. But if they stop for 7 months, will 90% of them tell you that their body STILL is a deafening scream for their favorite drug?

No drug is harder to stay away from in the long run, than heroin. If you ask someone who really and truly have been severly addicted to several drugs, that is the answer most of them will give. Notwithstanding that benzo WD is more painful in the long run, or that crack/meth addiction is as hard to beat the first months.

The thing about stims is that they don't form a physical addiction. You may have physical discomfort when you are activelly coming down from the stim, once you have gotten a good night of sleep and been fed, you'll physically be fine. Mentally, however stims can be VERY addictive. That mental dependence is what makes stims so addictive to some people. I think that it depends on the person too. I like stims, but once I'm out and manage to come down, I don't even want to think about stims for at least a couple of weeks. However, where as some people try opioids once, get dizzy and sick and never touch them again, the first time that I did opioids, I knew at once that this was something that made me feel at peace with the world. I've been battling the lure ever since. So, for me the most addictive drug would be opioids, more spec. heroin.

But, that's just me, and the answer will vary depending on the person.

followed by booze- I'm on day 15 now off of that, its been rough but not impossible.

the benzos, I dont know maybe it's just something about me personally, but I've never had a problem w/ding from them when they are gone they're gone, same with opiates I enjoy both but I don't get sick taking a break from them.

actualy, they arent. stimulants are known for causing serious hardcore psychological, or "mental" addiction, but as far as a phsycal addiction goes, amphetamines and coke......neither of them are addictive in that sense. the only wds you will experience are psychological wds. you must not know what addiction really is, and you must not have much experience with things like opiates and benzos. now THOSE are severaly phsycaly addictive.
id say alcohol, benzodiazepines, opiates, and barbiturates..........are the very most phsyicaly addictive substances........with methadone taking the cake for probably worst addiction possible id say followed my klonopin, and alcohol in that order. also, its strange, but caffeine is more physicaly addictive than amphetamines. caffeine causes alot of people hellish wds.
please correct me if im mistaken, i just have always been under teh impression that addiction to speed was all mental.

Susceptibility to the physical aspects of benzo addiction varies quite a bit -- believe it or not, some people don't experience much in the way of withdrawal symptoms.

To a certain extent I'm one of those people, although I'm not talking about suddenly going off massive doses... more like cutting down rapidly, or abruptly quitting around ~1mg/day level of klonopin intake. Just not a problem for me. At most, I'll get some slight anxiety. Note also that I'm completely immune to blackouts & memory problems from benzos and sedative-hypnotics, no matter what the dosage.

just consider yourself very lucky my friend!! and yeah i know what you mean. addictions are different for everyone. but, if you had been on a powerful benzo, and a decent dose for years, i fucking guarentee you will have BAD wds. like, imagine having the worst panic attack of your life, that lasts for weeks and weeks.......severe insomnia, severe pain and muscle cramps......the worst headfuck you could imagine. id say opiate withdrawal is slightly more painful and fucked up, but benzo wd lasts SOOOOO much longer thats why i say its a worse addiction than opiates even. like ive been on kpin at 3-6 mg a day for the past 5 years. if i tried to quit the wds would fuck my head right into a mental institution.............diazepam is the only benzo i am able to taper off, but even that is NOT comfortable, its just, barely do-able. there is alot of evidence that the newer extremely powerful benzos like xanax, klonopin, and halcion have much worse wds than weaker benzos. any benzo that is 20 times as potent as valium, is going to be a rough fucker to kick

You dont know how dependent you've became on them until its too late. The withdrawals from it are so horrible. The worst depression/anxiety imaginable for weeks....and this was only after using them for a month. I still try to challenge them occasionally by taking some at night time for a few nights in a row(thinking that the 24 hr breaks between doses will prevent dependence), and I still get kicked in the ass by them

edit: coke gets boring after a few days. opiates are too much work. benzos are the true escape from everything.

edit2: the withdrawals even after a couple weeks of normal recreational use are horrible. anxiety blows.

Opioids, alcohol and the strong Benzos = physical addiction
Coke = psychological addiction, and so can you say about the use of needles aka. taking you drugs IV. It will fast be a habit that it hard to get rid of.
