Most addictive substance? (your opinion)

its hard to say...

When I was on meth, I would sit down and smoke more and more; no matter how much I had I would keep smokeing until my eyes would cross and I couldnt even hit the pipe. When It was gone I would pick the carpet for pieces that I thought I had dropped. I was bad about the meth I would get a quarter gram, smoke it all and then fiend on the tube until it broke. I havent used since Feb. of this year. The main reason I got off of it, was I quit hanging around the ppl that did it and lost the connects.

For crack, yeah after I smoke some I want more MORE MORE. If I hit some and have money, I will spend it all. However, after I sleep; I wake up the next day realizing how stupid it was.

Opiates, are very addictive also especially IV dilaudid and snorting OC; but what keeps me from getting addicted is $$$ and lack of avalibility.

I've gone months without using coke, weeks without doing E, Weeks without getting shitfaced, but I cant go a day without Mary Jane. Call me a pussy, but Weed just seems like it's the only thing that keeps me happy. I used to be so depressed about the situation I was in, now im in the same situation and im fine. It gives me a reason to go to school, go to work, and deal with family.

I have a feeling Im going to catch an addiction to vic, oxy, or both, because I've been doing a lot of both (usually together) and not really noticing how much I do until the day after. And the worst thing is when I get them, It doesnt matter how many of them there are, They are all gone by nights end, which usually leads to me feeling like shit for days.

Meth would be if I ever touched it, but 3 of my family members were stereotypical tweakers with completely ruined lives (2 still are, one got off it). It's been easily available to me since august, and I still haven't even touched it.

I can relate 110%. Even other tweakers would get all over my case to put the fuckin pipe down. Even if I had more dope I'd keep chasing invisible vapors until the pipe was unquestionably dead; then I'd hit the floor for the next 10 hours....

I would have to say opiates all the way. Once you get in theres no easy way out. Withdrawals ar the worst in the world. You have 2 choices pop a few more pills and not get sick or go thru nasty withdrawals

iv cocaine, youll never get enough. with heroin youll nod off at least, but cokell get you going forever, till its all gone. and theyres never enough coke or needles. even iv meth you can sit back and rush, or sit back and nurse a smoke. shoot coke and youll be fixing the next shot before the first rush is done.

This is true; but at least with coke when I ran out I'd be able to call it quits for a little while. Meth keeps me awake and motivated long enough after the last shot of a bag to dig up cash and go score more and repeat, and repeat, and repeat.....

oxycodone...

i say this in regards to most people I know's tolerance jumps... WOW... I know people who went from 40mg a day to 160mg a day in the span of a few months...

reading about people's 400mg/day habits on here boggles my fucking mind. holy shit. HOW?

Man, I wish it was a few months. I used to do 20mg once a week and nod hard from it. Then it went to two times a week, then three, then four. In that four a week period, it took about 2 weeks to go from 20mg to 160mg. Not months at all. For me it seems to jump anywhere from 20-40mg a day for regular use. IE: If I use 120mg today, take a break tomorrow, the day after 120mg will probably be fine, but the next day Ill need 140-160mg to get off. Generally... two days of use to solidify a new level your stuck at.

400 a day? Never reached that, but price aside, it would be so easy to.

My vote goes to oxycodone, since its the only demon in my life right now.

I beat nicotine (which wasnt as bad as people say), coke (which wasnt too bad I thought) and caffine, which was the worst of the three. But oxycodone has its claws in me, and while Im doing very well, and my tolerance is dropping... I doubt ill be free for awhile.

Opiates all the way. Anyone who says otherwise hasnt felt the pull in the way some of us have :(

Opiates.
I still get cravings and it has been almost a year.

Although I have never tried meth, that sounds like a horrible addiction as well. I hear stories of people damn near tearing there house down looking for the (non-exsistant) crystals.

my vote goes to heroin/opiate

coke makes me feel disgusted especially if i am with other people when i do it. Meth/amphetamines keep me content for the duration of the high and i dont feel the need to repeat right away. the instant addiction factor is gone if i can get a good nights sleep after a binge

Heroin has a way of making you addicted before you think you are addicted. you start doing it once a week and you think you have nothing to worry about. when it hits the 3 times a week mark, you have already dug yourself in a hole. at that point it is either man up and face the monkey on your back, or get some more sweet lady h to keep you content for another day or two.

that being said i think i should also mention that i have quit heroin cold turkey, but i have never quit smoking cigarettes, so maybe i am lying to myself. ??

At one point I would have said nicotine, but I've come to believe a lot of it is due to availability. If a pack of cigarettes cost $50 and buying it could send you to jail, who would bother sustaining the addiction? But users of certain other substances can and do pay ridiculous prices, + risk getting busted.

Hard to say what's most addictive though, as different subbies are addictive in different ways. I've kicked numerous drugs in the past... opiates are definitely up there near the top IMO. Most anything that inhibits dopamine reuptake or stimulates its release also, such as coke/meth and other stimulants. However, there's something "out of sight, out of mind" about stimulants that just doesn't apply to opiates.

An addict doesn't care how stepped on it is.
WTF? You're damned tootin' they do... they care more than anyone else, particularly if (like most addicts) they only have a limited amount of money!

hard to answer really....

if cocaine is in the room and i have access to it, there is no stopping me (unless is shit). i usually will stay up and continue to use it until there is none left and i'm left licking every surface and credit card that came in contact with it :\ so i find cocaine to be very addicting HOWEVER more mentally than physically, if i go thru an eightball in one night the next day i'll sleep late (with the help of some benzos) and I'll have a little craving for coke but as soon as i start doing somethign, eating food, reading, work, etc, i forget about the coke and have no desire to do it again.

if there are opiates in the room i take enough to get a nice euphoric body high with the mental stimulation i love so much. a little cannabis added makes it a very addicting substance(s). oxycodone is by far the strongest i've tried more than once and is the most addicting especially when taken daily in combintion with cocaine.

benzodiazepines, in my case clonazepam (klonopin), is very addicting, have been taking it for over 1 year, doses ranged daily from .25mg to 8mg, have taken maybe five or six 2-3 days breaks from clonazepam since i have been on it, and am currently taking 2-5mg a day (new klonopin wafers). from what i hear the withdrawal can be worse than cocaine and opiate withdrawals, so in that case it may be the most addictive in that you would try so hard to avoid the worst withdrawal.

difficult to say for sure which is most addictive. pot is addictive (mentally) because its a relatively benign substance and when taken daily its use doesn't interfere too much with daily activities and work like harder drugs do so its easier to get a quick habit from also just as easy to stop so definitely not cannabis, but maybe cigarettes or alcohol, both EXTREMELY addictive (physically) and extremely dangerous in daily use in excessive amounts, so there after all that typing (the above) i've come to the conclusion that cigarettes and alcohol are tied for most addictive.

HEROIN and COCAINE when mixed together and shot. Nothing in the world like it.

Heroin by itself is addictive enough, but mix it with coke and I just can't get enough.

Crack is definitely the drug I could feel start to change my thinking the most. During last summer is when I started smoking it regularly and within like a month I was smoking at least a little bit everyday. This only lasted for about 3 weeks though when I realized that crack truly is whack and I punted my fucking crack pipe into the river behind my apartment.

Right now, I could see myself being addicted to oxy if I could get it all the time. Its just so damn good.

its tied between klonopin, and methadone. cocaine and crack and shit arent even physicaly addictive, just mentally. you try to stop taking kpin though, and you may have withdrawals anywhere from 2 weeks, to a fucking year (not joking) and methadone is one of the most painful withdrawals you willl ever encounter as well. as far as psychological most addictive, it would be different for everyone, but for me it is DXM. fuck that shit its the devil lol.

For me, the most addictive has been marijuana. It made me interested in life, cured my GI problems, and allowed me to be perfectly content just laying anywhere with my mind wrapped around the nice glowing body high. Too bad it slowly numbed my mind, made me slower, delusional, etc... I don't smoke anymore. The GI problems are back somewhat, but who gives a fuck when I feel sharp as a tack again :)

The only reason I don't say opiates, (more specifically, pod tea), is because the thought of going through a withdrawal actually scares me too much to allow myself to form a habit. If I had been scared that weed would leave me a sick, fucked up mess after quitting, I would have never smoked as much as I did.

Oh but that pod tea soothing powerful on top of the world loving grip on my soul... makes me so horny for a cup of bitter brown delight.

definately railing H. It nearly killed me. But at the same time it was the best thing ever as far as a drug high; until it gets its hooks into you......
