What do you guys personally think is the most addictive drug, or class of drugs, and why? Be specific, although "amphetamines" is fine, while "stimulants" is not specific enough. you can even say "oxycodone" or "clonazepam". Either the family (opiates, benzos, cocaine is in its own "family", dissociatives, alcohol, etc) or the chemical itself is fine. Just curious.

Out of everything I have tried, I would have to say Opioids, to be specific. Oxycodone.

Very addicting for me, and very hard to kick! (for me that is!)

Keep in mind, I have not tried many stimulants like meth, coke, crack, dex. So I don't know jackshit about those.

I'll start...opiates, because as much as u may know about them, you tell yourself that "just one more day" is okay, next thing you know, you have a proper habit and are too scared to stop cuz of the wd. But i can't decide between opiates and benzos, cuz even though benzos dont tend to be as euphoric (IME/O), benzo addiction sneaks up on you, and anyone that knows about benzo addiction will tell you that a cold turkey xanax wd after 6 months makes a cold turkey oxy wd a cakewalk. So it's a tie between those two.. (easy addiction vs terrifying withdrawal, even though both are somewhat easy to get hooked on, and the wd is horrible for both)

i would have to agree ballsag.. i got quite hooked on oxycodone for a long time, more so than any other opioid/ate

Yep!
Opiates- to be specific, Methadone.

A nightmare on crack........

Heroin, although I've never had an addiction problem with it.

However I say this because every other drug I've tried in my life - which is alot - I either hated right away or hated after extensive use. Except heroin.

Opiates are alright but only if they are injectable do I really like them.

I can imagine getting addicted to heroin, sometimes I feel the pull when I take a break from it...

i havent gotten extremely addicted to anything (knock on wood) but from experiences w/ friends, i would have to say opiates and crack are the main ones.

Hands down OPIATES.

(More specifically Opiates with NO APAP/NSAIDS/ASA ie isolated opiate drugs. Even more specifically is Oxycodone / Diamorphine as they are the most euphoric PO and can contain no APAP/NSAIDS/ASA unline Hydrocodone.)

This class of drugs, specifically the type i mentioned, is BOTH MENTALLY AND PHYSCIALLY ADDICTING. Most people will tell you physical withdrawls are brutal but only last for a few days/week while mental addiction/cravings can and usually do last much longer up to a lifetime.

Nothing comes close IMO.

marijuana by far. the only drug i could not control myself with.

note: i mean most addictive to me, not most addictive in general. in general i would guess opiates.

very true... my list is this: most addictive drugs: opiates, alcohol, benzos, nicotine

2nd place: methamphetamine, cocaine

3rd place: amphetamine, caffeine (why do so many people need a cup of coffee in the morning? caffeine withdrawal. and the fact that it is thought of as a food additive, not a drug, and in reality it works the same way as the amphetamines and cocaine

Yea, do you guys know that heroin is an ope?

And so is methadone............

that is one of the stupidest things i have ever heard on this site..no offense...
of course methadone and heroin are opiates. very powerful opiates at that.
both are more powerful than OC, in my opinion, but to me, oxy is extremely addictive, along with alprazolam

marijuana by far. the only drug i could not control myself with
i know where you're coming from, there was a time in my life where i HAD to smoke a few times a day, but this is not a true addiction, even though stopping can be mildly uncomfortable. its a bad habit, thats it. it cannot even compare to the drugs i have just listed as 1st and 2nd place.. but dont think im dicksizing, i know where you're coming from.. just wait till u have a proper opiate/benzo addiction

P.S. Amphetamine addiction, whereas its meth or pharm amph, is extremely detrimental to your health, much more so than opiate addiction. im talking about smoking meth everyday or 80mg of adderall+/daily.. good ol' amphetamine psychosis

Out of drugs ive used, PCP takes the cake for most psychologically addicting, and 2OH4MeF takes the cake for most physically addicting

Out of what ive read about... Ketobemidone sounds to be the kingpin of addiction both psychologically and physically. I imagine 3OHPCP would be pretty close to Ketobemidone in addiction potential as well.
