So, a very basic kind of question.

When will orally consumed IR morphine WD's start? I'm thinking it would be similar to heroin (in ~12 hrs after last dose) but I ain't sure.

Thanks.

yeah usually by the 24hr mark you'll be almost certainly into full wd. the 12 hour mark, for me, the sniffles set in, legs start to get a little restless and aches and pains start so i know it's not far off. 24-36hr mark and i'm running to and fro from the bathroom (if no imodium) until the peak of the wd is over around the 56-72hr mark where the worst it over and done with.

i've never withdrawn from herion but morphine many times. from what i understand they're not much difference, the intensity depends on your habit.

You may start feeling a little off around the 8-10 hour point. Around 24-36 hours withdrawal will be at it's peak effect and continue to be for the next 1-48 hours usually depending on the severity of the dependence.

Great, cause i'm withdrawing from pods and tapering using IR morphine so it's good to know that the full WD doesn't hit me like after 3-4 days as it is with pods.

it will take longer than heroin to set in since you were taking it orally. it lasts in your GI tract for a while. morphine is a great main drug if you have access to enugh of it. would be my choice of maint over deathadone. id say you will feel it coming on at around 20-24 hours. depending on your daily use you could be looking at a few days of flu like symptoms and aches and pains, or full blown liquid coming out of every orifice except your ears (a dr told me that once lol, pretty great description right?) get some loperamide and clonidine if you can, anything to help you ease your pain.

btw what is your goal here? detox>? make it to the next fix? get clean and chip? also how much were you using daily?

Hey man, I have withdrawn a few times and twice it has been pretty bad and achy/bone pain. Usually for me it is the next day when I wake up and it passes the time I usually dose at. I feel a headache and general lethargy and then it gets worse from there, so yeah about 24hours.

But the thing is, I have withdrawn from PST a few times and it is always the same as other opioid withdrawal? It has never hit me three days after or something, just the usual 24 hour start and about 72 hour end. But this is just me, but I can not imagine not having any PST for three days and not feeling WD, then out of now where feel it...anyone here like me? If this is a thread hijack sorry, I am just really interested.

Depends on a lot of factors, like what dose you take, how often you are used to taking opioids, your individual metabolism/brain/body/sensitivity to withdrawals etc. It's going to be different for everyone. Often with opioids if you get used to a set dosing schedule you will start getting noticeable withdrawals around the time you would normally take your next dose. But yes, for most people, withdrawal from oral IR morphine should begin within 24 hrs.

Yeah, I tried to CT from pods but just couldn't take it since the symptoms seemed take about a week to even peak. Then I started to take IR morphine and taper down fast and I've been almost symptom free about a week now. Down to 10 mgs/day I doubt it will cause symptoms any more, just wanted to make sure I am not going to be attacked by some wd´s after several days of abstinence. I am trying to detox and trying naltrexone treatment now so I don't fuck up with opiates for a while. I've detoxed off pods many times already but it gets worse every time, and I haven't had longer break in between for a year or so, always withdrawing/using well you know how it goes.

If you mean seed tea, I never used it so I don't know if it is somewhat different versus the pod tea. When I first started drinking and stopped, the WD's would hit me faster and peak quicker, but after 5-6th time or so it takes about 5-6 days to peak for me. And I've been eating the grounds lately rather than prepping tea, which also means that the WD's are going to be a bit late.

Yeah, seed tea. I mean that sucks so bad if it takes that so long. I never knew that pods were that long lasting half-life wise. Maybe seed tea is less I do not know, but I have never experienced a 6 or 7 day peak. By day 4 it is over, and I have used quite heavily at times (5kg seed wash for one hit, was struggling with life outside of drugs and the opiates spiralled out of control).
