Opioids Morphine with Chitosan for plugging

There has been some research to indicate that snorting morphine powder mixed with chitosan increases BA and absorption rate noticeably.

However, because the recommended ratio of chitosan is 5x the amount of morphine, it would seem painful and inefficient to snort this mixture.


I'm wondering if this mixture would be beneficial for plugging as well. This way has similar mucous membranes, however, one has a much larger surface area down there, which would be better suited/more efficient for the large amount of chitosan. Does anyone have any theories on this?

Why does the Chitosan increase bio availability? I can't see it doing anything other than blocking the morphine from being absorbed in the nose due to the huge amount of powder that would be present. So maybe all you have to do is eat it a bit before sniffing the morphine, to increase an enzyme or something of the like used to metabolize the morphine, therefore increasing the bio availability.

^ Chitosan does not work by inhibiting enzymes. It works more directly with the initial absorption.

Too lazy to look it up right now, but from what I recall the chitosan is a protein with a certain structure that allows morphine to attach to it and thus become more lipophillic (more permeable into mucus membranes). Therefore it must be in contact with the morphine when at the absorption site, so one must use the same ROA for both.

^ In theory I would think so. But obviously the structure of anal membranes is different than nasal ones, so what if the Chitosan works specifically with nasal membranes? I'm hoping someone knowledgeable can shed light.

I just plugged a relatively small amount of morphine and I'm getting dope-like waves, so if this chitosan thing works with plugging I will be psyKed
