So recently I've been using morphine oral solution (about every other day) and i've noticed a slight increase in tolerance. Roughly how much use does it take for withdrawal symptoms to set in after cessation?

kthnx

5 to 7 days of using, maybe as little as 3 in some people, depending on how much you use throughout the day.

Christ, I didn't expect it to be that soon. Are we talking minor symptons here? Like slight agitation, etc.

Anyway, think I'll leave it alone for a few weeks. Can't afford to take any days off work over it.

I would say mild to moderate symptoms. 3-4 days probably being closer to "mild" withdrawal, and 7 to 9 days being "medium" withdrawal.

I would be careful not to use more than 2 or 3 days in a row max before taking off 2x as many days so as to prevent more than just mild withdrawal.

OK, thanks for the advice. I'll be more cautious in the future.

I'll use for only 3 straight days (yes btw this is my 3rd day of taking morphine in a row) and then have some very very light W/D symptoms, just some dysphoria, some sweating, slightly dilated pupils, and quite a bit of craving

The Captain is giving you good advice here.
Opiate addicts don't start out thinking there going to become addicted.
Be extremely careful if you plan on being a "chipper" it's easy to think I'll just dose one extra time this week, etc.
Soon it gets on top of you.
Glad to see you're going to be more cautious.
I wish you the best of luck in using without getting hooked.
I had the same plans when I started (for pain relief not recreation) & sadly enough my plans backfired.
I hope you have better luck. :)
