It's actually based on analgesia, not CNS depression. These conversion charts are based medically, where the only use of an opioid is to relieve pain, and euphoria would be a side effect. That's why 30mg PO morphine (ER) doesn't feel as euphoric as 30mg hydro per se, yet is still a correct conversion.

I loved ms contins I was prescribed for jaw and back pain imo they are much better then vics but I also abuse opiates so my tolerance is a bit up there but on a recreational note ms contins kick ass I honestly prefer snorting them even though they are extended release with the wax I just suck the wax off wait telll they dry and crush them up fine and rail them. I love the euphoria and nod I get more so then most other opiaties ms contins are among my favorites

I learned to love oral morphine, after being an ex heroin addict, only heroin addicts I know seem to like morphine, every1 else hates it.

I just got put on morphine suf er 15mg but I swear it feels like a placebo. Helps absolutely none! Ive tried taking 30mg with one 10 - 325 norco, but feel nothing. I want to take 2 norcos and 2 morphine (30mg total) but is it safe? My tolerance is ridiculous and depressing really. I know this thread is old but hoping someone responds. I've been on Norco for 5 years.
