Opioids Morphine sulfate 15mg IR

The net says 50mg per 1ml of water for morphine sulfate. THeir are vials that are 20 mg per ml of MS. So why is it not possible to fit more then 7 mg in a 1ml of water. Its not because other shit is in it either. I have let them sit out over night standing up so all the solids would fall to the bottom but their are none(if you dont have filters and are worried about it this can be a free alternative to filtering)Also ive tried wheel filters they dont allow any more ms either. It makes no sense net says 50 mg to 1ml water but I soak a whole 15mg and their will always be about half left in. I also use distilled water which has almost no impurities in it. Can anyone solve this mystery of the morphine?

According to Sigma Aldrich morphine sulfate has a room temperature water solubility of 64mg/mL. That's for pure morphine sulfate however.

The other ingredients in the tablets can reduce the solubility of morphine or compete for solvation in water. The exact details here can get complicated and it depends on the other ingredients in the tablet.

You can safely assume you won't get 64mg/mL for that reason.

How do you know the entire amount isn't dissolved in solution?

Thanks for the reply. I know because I can take one 15 MG and Ill get 1 ml of water let it soak and I get 1 hit then later on I add 1 ml of water again and their is always another hit which feels about the same as the first one and taste just as bitter. The pills are
hikma 15 mg ir 54/733 on front.
