Hello everyone.

I was given half a bottle of this (which expired 8/14) from a friend (mainly for tooth pain, but feel goodz too) But after reading up on it, it says NOT to take it unless you're opiate tolerant. I've taken one 5mg pill of morphine every day for the last 5 days, and was taking between 5-15mg worth of Oxy (red liquid) per day for 1-2 weeks prior to that. I also take Adderall (usually half a pink pill in the morning to get me going) for days at a time pretty often.

My question is, would I be able to take that super potent dose of Morphine Sulfate 100mg per 5ml if I dumb it down to say 5-10mg per dose (1/16 tsp - 1/8 tsp), effectively turning into a 'normal' dose? I'm not sure if all the warnings about respitory failure come from the potential of taking too much since it's super potent, or if it's just this type of morphine in general that can cause this problem with any dose.

TL;DR - Is 5mg (1/16 tsp) of Morphine Sulfate (100mg per 5ml) the same as one 5mg Morphine pill (54 733). I read the warnings about Respitory failure for Morphine sulfate 100mg per 5ml and I'm a little worried about taking a 5mg dose of it.

Thanks for your time guys
