Sorry if this has already been covered somewhere but after looking through the internet I couldn't seem to find the specific answer I was looking for.

ANYWAYS

I stumbled upon a 60 MG Morphine Sulfate SR tablet. I have no tolerance to opiates, i've taken all sorts but on a more or less occasional basis. So my question is basically this..

Can I crush/break this? I've heard it can cause you to absorb the entire twelve hour dose at once but is 60mg really all that much? Especially if i only take a bit at a time? I'd just prefer to absorb it directly rather than have it lingering about for the next 12 hours, but not if it means i'm gonna overdose or something.

Any answers are much appreciated, thanks.
 
Rule of thumb is morphine is roughly 30% bioavailiable, so if you're opioid naive, try crushing it & taking half (10mg absorbed morphine)

I wouldn't take it all at once.
