Hello all,
Well first off, I am new to the Bluelight community. I have surfed the forums many times before but never actually made an account until now. I just had a couple questions about morphine. Someone that I know recently got a lot of morphine (50 60 MG MSContin) lately and has been snorting at least 2-3 a day for about 3 days. He was telling me that this morning when he woke up before even doing any substance he woke up and felt very intoxicated as if he just did some morphine then threw up twice. Is this dope sick?

Thanks

I don't think so, 3 days is too short. I'd rather say that it's a sign of doing too much. Such an amount is too much when one is opioid-naive or has low tolerance.

I agree w adder it does sound like lack of tolerance that made the person sick....but I know it only takes 72hrs to get addicted to opiates. In op case, it sound like the amt of morphine is too high w no tolerance, which doesn't mean they're not dependent never-the -less.

^^You're not gonna get a habit from 3 days of use. Burroughs said 6 months, I think 3-4 of daily use will probably get you there.

To the OP, most likely just used to much, definitely possible with a low tolerance to feel intoxicated in the morning.

Your friend was suffering from accumulation of morphine in his body. Thats why he woke up intoxicated and why he was sick.
3-4 days wont get you addicted but could a great starton psychological dependance.

you really need to develop a habit where the withdrawl has you vomiting. i only get that bad of an opiate withdrawl if im popping 500mg MScontin a day. when i was addicted to opiates at my norm level i never was a nauseous/vomiting type...sometimes i wont get the shits my intense will close up and be constipated, painful leg restlessness, painful uncomfortable yawning runny nose butterfly stomach anxious feeling. only when im doing heavy dope or morphines hard daily i vomit. it took me about 1yr of heroin use to actually get physically dependent where i would in a lot of suffering and pain, most of my withdrawl was a severe mental obsession and craving that caused me to get the shits , sweat and be anxious and erratic....my first time ever tkaing opiates was darvocet at 14 i took 2 and was nauseous and vomiting, ididnt like it, but i did like it, eventually i was able to handle y opiate use , the days where 3 lortabs put me in a heavy dreamlike nod for hours in my school seat in high school is long gone. opiate use is very ugly, even if ur functional, it still is too much to handle.
