Opioids Morphine Question?

This might be a dumb question but better safe than sorry I guess...

I took 64mg of concerta at about 7:30 this morning

then about 1 hour and 45 minutes ago I smokes a tiny bit of weed, took a 5mg hydrocodone and drank like half a beer...

is it cool if I take like 20-30mg of morphine?

Well i don't think anyone can answer that question without a idea of your tolerance. I have never taken methylphenidate but i know from experience that amphetamines potentiate opiates alot. I am pretty sure it would be the same for methylphenidate as i know people who have mixed the 2 and said it definitely increased the euphoria from the opiate. It's actually a fairly popular stimulant here among people who do speedballs and can't afford coke.

So in either case definitely dose much lower then you normally would for safety sake.

I mean I have pretty much no opiate tolerance right now. I took some kratom yesterday but I dunno if that counts. I also don't really have much of an amphet tolerance. I mean I hadn't done any stims for like 2 weeks up until this friday I took like 120mg of concerta and then another 64mg this morning. I imagine the concerta has pretty much worn off by now.

I should ad that I've never taken morphine before.

I would say for safety sake skip the morphine for now. It's a rough opiate for someone with no tolerance anyway cause of the nausea and vomiting it can cause.

hmmmm damn, I was pretty pumped to do it....you're probably right though...

is the nausea and vomiting that bad? The guy I got it from had no tolerance and did 40mg and said it was great. I mean I have a fairly strong stomach, I seldom throw up on most drugs.

I guess it may be a bit late now but how are/were you planning to take the morphine?

IV/Oral/Plug?

30mg IV'd is ~comparable to 90mg of oral morphine ingested, and I guess ~60mg of oral morphine plugged.*

*please feel free to correct me but that's a rough guide as far as I can remember

The nausea and vomiting from morphine can be bad. It never bothered me but i have seen people addicted to dilaudid, Heroin, etc puke after a shot of morphine that would barely get me high. It's one of the worst opiates for causing this from what i have seen.

As the poster mentioned above only 1/3rd of morphine taken orally actually makes it to the brain as it has poor oral bioavailability unlike say oxycodone or methadone. As a starting dose i would recommend trying maybe 20mg's of oral morphine to see how you react to it. I don't personally know how much methylphenidate adds to the euphoria and painkilling effects of opiates but i know that i was able to get a nice high off 30mg's of oral morphine when normally to get anything at all i would need 200mg's or so as i have been on morphine for ages. As a general rule mixing opiates with stimulants is a bad idea anyway as it's far easier to OD on that combo plus amphetamines and cocaine certainly make opiates much more euphoric thus all that more addictive.
