We can't really help you decide whether or not you should buy morphine. Is it worth it? Using opioids recreationally is never "worth it" in my opinion. The risk of addiction outweighs the "benefits" of getting high. I am glad that at least you only are willing to use opioids orally and have kept your tolerance low so far though.
But I think what you are actually asking is will someone with your low tolerance to opioids get decent effects from oral morphine? There is really no way to know for sure in advance, it affects different people very differently. And the effects of morphine are slightly different from hydrocodone or oxycodone, so it depends on personal preference as well. Morphine is certainly not "trash" if you don't plug it or inject it, it's more likely that the people complaining have a high tolerance to opioids, and/or are comparing the effects of injecting it versus taking it orally (morphine is a lot weaker orally than injected, so of course someone used to injecting opioids (or looking for cost effectiveness) might not be impressed with oral morphine). If you are used to 10mg oral hydrocodone or oxycodone you should be able to get decent effects from oral morphine.
But I don't really think this fits within the BDD guidelines, as we are a harm-reduction focussed forum for specific questions about drugs, you are more asking for people's opinions on whether or not you should buy a drug. That doesn't really have any harm reduction value unless you wanted to know things like what a safe starting dose was, what dose should be roughly equivalent to 10mg of hydro or oxy (morphine should be roughly equivalent mg per mg to hydrocodone; oxycodone is normally stronger than both hydrocodone and morphine - as I said everyone is different though), etc. And I'm sure there are already many threads where people have voiced their opinions on oral morphine or compared it to other opioids.
So, I'm going to close this but please feel free to PM me if you have any questions. thanks.
