Morphine Peak Plasma

There is a lot of talk about bioavailability does anyone have any info of which ROA gives the highest and fastest Peak plasma levels for morphine sul im not concerned with ba as i find plugging and oral utterly useless for me anyway when it coes to morphine but snorting is good so i know ive made a thread like this before and im not starting a debate

just if someone informed could tell me which roa get which peak plasma levels.

But if you have already tried oral and rectal and find snorting to be the best then IV is really the only option (outside of IM and SC which you don’t want to do with pills) you have left.

i don't understand questions like this. you answered your own question yourself. you said youve tried oral plugging and snorting. what other orifice are you looking to put morphine into? Intravenous is your only ROA left (well, unless you wanna waste time with IM or SC)

I think the OP might be after a scientific answer, backed up by facts and not personal experiences. Not sure though.

Going to shift it to OD to see if they have anything a bit more advanced to offer, if this is the wrong place for it though OD mods then just send it right back.

I'm inclined to agree that you answered this yourself and I'm not sure what you are asking for.

Intravenous has 100% BA and almost instant peak concentration.

If you don't wish to inject it (which is a good thing) then stick with nasal. You can check out chitosan to increase the ability of the morphine alkaloid to pass through the membrane.

I wonder where plugging/anal administration (not sure the scientific term for that ROA) falls on that curve...anyone have any ideas as to where it'd be on that graph?

I would guess in between nasal and IV...

^Pretty much the same as nasal but both will depend on the substance and no one substance will be the same for nasal and rectal. Rectal might also have some remnants of oral as any solution which gets farther up the large intestine beyond the colon will be absorbed into the hepatic portal system which does not bypass first pass metabolism.

Well i know another option for good absorbtion.

Intraosseous Injection.
This is a shot directly through bone into the bone marrow. This provides direct access to the vascular system in similar function to intravenous administration. Instant and 100% absorbtion rates. The marrow cavity is essentially an uncollapsable vein. These types of injections are used in emergencies where seconds count, venous access is compromised and to access the main veins would take way too long.

But i doubt you want to do this lol.
