Opioids morphine (ms contin) pill crushed in water, in fridge.

i crushed up a morphine pill, and it all kinda gelled up.

every time i crushed, it would become a flat disk of white and purple coagulation

couldn't get it to powder, now im skeptical about its solubility in water. its now in water anyway and its well distributed.

if i keep this in a sealed opaque vial in my fridge. how long could the drug last potentially? due to it being in a water solution.

Keep it away from light as it will degrade morphine sooner or later and it will lose much of its potency. If you keep it in the dark, it should be fine if pH is acidic as it should be with morphine salts being derived from weak base and strong acids.
