Morphine IR Sublingually and Plugged/Rectal?

Im tired of revolving my appetite around my pill usage. Obviously, on an empty stomach M hits harder.. What about when full? are the effects of M weaker? and does it take longer to catch that same empty stomach buzz? And ive been reading around but have seen anything really evident on using morphine under the tongue.. Is it better this way than orally? Do i need to crush it up first and let the powder just sit? I Like M, i just hate putting off eating or waiting 2 hours after to use.. what am i about to go swimming? wtf!

Sublingual administration is often a good way to take drugs as it does hit faster than oral, and often the bioabailability is high. I've not seen any figures for morphine however.. One issue is that if the pill is big then that's a lot of stuff to put under your tongue, lots of fillers/binders which probably won't be absorbed so you'll end up having to swallow it (and any morphine that couldn't be absorbed due to the large volume of powder) . Logically if you do this the bioavailability isn't going to be lower than oral but if you end up swallowing a load of it then it might not be worth the extra hassle.

If you can get the morphine to absorb sublingually then yes, it will avoid the issue around needing an empty stomach.

When your stomach is full it doesn't decrease the total amount of oral morphine that is absorbed, but rate of absorption is slow - so blood levels gently rise rather than a sharp peak, therefore the effects can feel diminished.

You could try plugging the morphine - on paper the bioavailability is about the same as oral but anecdotally some people find it works better, plus it will be faster (and therefore hit you harder) than oral and it doesn't matter how full your stomach is!
 
No problem! If you try sublingual let us know how it goes, you're right about there being very little info in it.. :)
 
Crushed up into a fine powder & then put under the tongue seems to work better than chewing swallowing, at least for me it does. This is, they taste sour like so if you can handle the taste, go for it.........
 
SO, i did 60mg under the tongue, crushed up 15mg at a time. to be honest i thought i'd feel more. im no novice to opiates so maybe its my tolerance.. now today im going to try plugging... have you tried this? or should i start a new thread for this topic?
 
I'll change the title to encompass plugging. What is your tolerance like? It may be that sublingual morphine doesn't have a great bioavailability or that it just doesn't work that well even when the pills are crushed up..

Plugging has a similar bioavailability listed as oral but as I said some people do seem to find it better and it should hit faster/harder at least. Good luck!
 
So I tried it.. At 90mg. Got me on a good nod, scratching till I bleed.. That's for all your help and you being my 1st friend on here : )
 
So you stuck it up the butt, aye........I just cant bring myself to do it unless I got my gf to do it for me & I know she would but I cant right now. Crushed & put in mouth works better than snorted.......although you get a better rush snorted, it doesnt last as long.

If I had a choice between plugging of Iving, no contest, plugging all the way because I wont touch a needle.

Yeah. I never thought i'd succumb to that ROA but to be honest it wasnt bad. Another question arises though, if i havent shit in few days ( opiate binge ) will that effect the plug? is it like takin orally on a full stomach?

Haha. If your rectum is full then it does make it less effective yes.. it depends, if you are constipated from opioids often your rectum will be empty but your colon full, so that would work fine (it's your rectum that has the rich supply of blood vessels that makes plugging so effective).

Try it and see.. you could do an enema first but that can irritate your rectum and would probably make the whole thing a lot less pleasant.
 
Marvelous. is there a certain ratio for ml of water per mg of morphine to dissolve? cause before i did it in 2 sessions. now i wanna do 90mg all at once.. should i increase the water? i used about 3ml last time..

You only need 1mL of water/60mg morphine, 3mL is more than enough. You can dissolve huge amounts of opiates in small amounts of water.

I take my morphine rectally as well, wouldn't bother any other way since I don't IV
