Morphine - Intranasally

Hey, im gettin some ampules of Morphine, dont know brand, type and how much, or what type, but if its only for IV's, is it possible to drink it or something? I hate syringes. And gettin' some morphine pills, somewhy crushed, but reliable source. Is it possible to snort morphine, or it should be another type?
 
It is fine the drink the liquid. Nasal morphine works ok but it has higher BA orraly. Do you know what brand the pills are; you don't want to snort them if they are the ms-contins since they gel when wet.
 
How much of that liquid should i drink? I guess you wouldn't know, because i dont know what type exactly it is, right?
The pills - I dont really know anything, just that friends grandpa is a surgeon, and they use pills, so im gettin' the leftovers. Not quite sure what's when, and how, but as soon as i will get a hold of those, i will post everything. Tonite, or tommorow.

There's too many unanswered questions to answer appropriately..
for instance...the morphine pills..are they instant release? if so..
here's what I know..
With intranasal delivery, morphine is absorbed directly into the systemic circulation, bypassing problems that occur with oral administration, ie..metabolism and liver.
From what I've read BA is still 10-20% vs. IV..
which is a place I'll not go unless in a hospital setting.

morphine ampules..yeah..ppl drink them. or plug.
watch your dose, seriously.

Too many ppl playing around w/this seriously addictive substance.
Research, research, research..first..please..

^ yeah. that's what our bioavailability thread says.. oral 30%, nasal 15-20%. It also gives rectal as 30% but IME and judging by others' experiences it is higher than that.

Swallow or plug :) Snorting pills clogs your sinuses anyway, and if you have ampoules you may as well plug :) careful with dose, remember no other CNS depressants (alcohol, benzos etc) and enjoy :)

If your friends gandpa is a surgeon, they must be pretty good morphine pills..........but asking us how much to drink of the vials is something we cant tell you unless we know more about your tolerance with opiates. We need some history about you.
 
vendal reatard morphini hydrochloridum, 30mg each. How much should i take? Non tolerant here. Well i've had some rough times few month ago, no dope, and 200 tramadol pills, but i highly doubt, that it would change something..

I did 25mg of morphine sr orally my 1st time & my legs felt like jelly.......everyone is different & 30mgs could be plenty for his 1st time. Everyones body breaks morphine down differently...........

Morphine taken rectally is actually very much like morphine taken orally. I've never done that myself but I conclude from my past acquaintances experiences and doses they used. When some day one guy taking 500mg (or 300mg, can't remember, I've told this story somewhere already, anyway it was quite high if taken intravenously) morphine rectally (and jabbering how his tolerance high is) injected the same dose I did (150mg), he nodded out good... Well, actually was falling asleep and I was wondering if I should give him a shot of naloxone...
 
when i snorted morphine, i found that doing 30mg felt alright, 60mg was really good.. and if that just doesnt cut it 90mg should have you feeling great for a while. for me morphine lasts a lot longer than other opiates, if i do it late then i will still feel the effects well into the next day
 
There's definitely much more body high to morphine when compared to heroin because morphine passes through blood-brain barrier harder. And while both of them actually rely on morphine's (+ 6-MAM in case of heroin) action on opioid receptors, they feel substantially different, morphine rush is slower and gradual, yet still fast, and there's that "pins & needles" feeling when it spreads much more throughout the whole body. I've never really experienced proper body high from heroin and the best analogy for heroin rush is a sudden hammer hit in the head, i.e. you may inject a quantity you will black out after but it's highly possible you're going to have enough time to stand up first and then after some time you realize "what the hell happened?".

Anyway, for the intolerant 30mg of morphine would be a high dose when injected intravenously, 60mg might already be equal to having someone call 112 or 911, and 90mg would definitely be. This shows how much is "wasted" when it's snorted, taken orally, or rectally.

Besides for these routes it's quite hard to predict the good dose even for analgesic effect, two individuals may need 2 different doses and it may be anywhere from 10% to 30% bioavailability. Thus intravenous route is preferred in hospitals, I've never seen a morphine pill being given in a hospital. The dose must be sufficient for the pain so it's much easier to administer more via catheter.

It's not to encourage anyone to something he/she would regret shortly, it's just for people to know that high doses of morphine taken rectally or snorted don't mean their tolerance is really high and that morphine turned out to be weak in their case.

As a side note, actually even if you compare i.m. codeine with p.r. codeine, the former needs less for the same effect (I don't mean just higher maximum concentration after i.m. injection because of faster build-up in blood).

I don't get to enjoy it as much as I used to..
but that's probably for the better, now that I think about it..
