Morphine dosage for someone with no tolerance...

I have recently acquired an amount of morphine in pill form. I have read several articles about dosage, most recommending 30mgs orally. However, each pill I have contains 60mg morphine. Would taking the whole pill be too much for someone with no tolerance, or is it required to reach a recreational dose? Thanks in advance

The first time I did morphine it was an orange 60 mg MS Cotton. I had previous experiences with percs, vicodin, & oc's. I broke it in half & chewed into a few pieces. It got me pretty fucked up. So I would suggest you take half for your first time. Make sure you don't drink on them or your gonna get all hot & sweaty then pass out...

I would recommend around 60 mg chewed for your first time if you are an opiate virgin. Also, morphine provides more of a body load and less euphoia than hydro or oxy. It can also make you vomit if you drink on it. I find 80 mg or so of instant release to be a good time. It also seems to last a lot longer than other opiates. If you take 2 or 3 of the contins w/out crushing or anything, you should have a nice buzz for 8-12 hours.

Tweetersig is telling you to start with a high dose. PLEASE don't start with this amount. If you have no opiate tolerance, you're gonna get sick. I also assume you're not 250+ lbs. It's always good policy to start small and work your way up. MsContin is shitty to snort. What I do with this is crush it up as fine as possible and let it disolve under my tongue. If it's an instant release pill, go ahead and sniff it. 25-30mg of Morphine is a good starting dose.
If you get a lil dizzy and nauseas, lay down. It's a common side effect. And try not to go to sleep while you're really fucked up, cuz this could be dangerous.
