Opioids Morphine Availability??

So I keep hearing about the oral route of morphine to be superior to snorting. Is this true?

They're both pretty shit tbh. Can't remember exact numbers, but it's something like 25% BA oral and 10% BA snorted.

Oral bioavailability is average 40%, though it can vary from 20% to 85%(I think), depending on the person. I'd say it's about 1/3 as strong as oxycodone.

Morphine isn't really that soluble in lipids or water, so it has a hard time crossing the mucus membranes in the nose. IME morphine isn't any different oral or snorted, so why bother.

The only way to make snorting morphine work is to use chitosan. don't know if mixing it with pills will work thought.

Oral use still works, just need more mg then IV.

Yeah if you're looking for a more effective route than oral your only real options are IV or man up and plug it :D lolz

I personally don't mind bumping some lines of MS 60s, they can give me a nice rush. The key thing to remember is to break it up real fine into a powder, and do smaller lines and take a break because if you to too much it will just gel up in your nose.

Morphine by itself nasally is not a good choice IMO (low BA); heroin on the other hand, is pretty good when taken intranasally.

i dont care what anyone says about how low the oral BA for morphine is. im a pretty tolerant opioid dependent user, im on suboxone 24mgs a day, when im in withdrawl from Suboxone, all i need really is 120mg(2 MSContin 60mg) to feel better. to be high, 300 mg (5 MSContin 60mg)
